Absolutely fantastic piece of hardware. I was gifted one from a friend who never much got into piano since I already played guitar and it’s been one of my best friends. Fantastic for learning and gigs, it sounds incredible , hard to believe the quality you get for the price imo. I learned on this with no understanding of piano and it took me forever to figure out I needed a sustain pedal when I finally sat down at a grand piano and knew what to do. Couldn’t be happier with it.

Agreed. I've seen a lot of those 100 unrealistic sounds, I actually have one of those big pianos with cheesy sounds at home from about ten years ago when I was a child, but I've grown back to my musical taste and seen the true awful unrealistic-ness of strings and pianos. Boy, those violins and harps sure sound like everything else, but with the strings on this, it's not even that bad. The organ sounds a bit cheesy but I won't be using an organ.

So i just bought this last week, it's really great, i think it's a pretty good starter instrument, but i don't really know how to connect it with my PC. I mean sure, i got the USB cable, i plugged it in, but then what? What kind of software should i use? Is there something like Guitar rig but for pianos? Help?
@baddudesa-bomb13168 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the zero replies guys! I actually figured it out on my own. I'm just posting this here so if anybody ever has the same problem i did, they can read this and make things work. So what i did is that i acquired a wonderful little program called AIR music technology Ignite, which is basically the same thing as Guitar rig, but for keyboards only. I know intermediates and master players will probably say it's baby software, or whatever, but this is my very first keyboard, and my first program for it, and i'm having a great amount of fun with them together. So yeah, get that, it's fun.

Irrelevant. No. of keys has nothing to do with anything. There could easily have been two very different organ sounds but Yamaha chose two that were far too similar.
