Terrific review! One critique, however: while I'm quite cognizant of how fumbly and finicky a smartphone's Auto-Focus can be (if that is indeed how you're recording your videos), I found this review a bit hard to watch, as the AF kept struggling throughout the video, seeming to "bounce" and swell intermittently. I don't know what to suggest, as I don't know what your setup is (or what phone you're using, if you're using one at all). Granted, these types of videos are primarily audio anyway, so it's not a _huge_ deal overall, however the AF bounce does cause a bit of...not motion sickness or nausea, but it's definitely uncomfortable. On the plus side, I'm being gifted an NP-32, and your video here is one of a couple I've seen that has me pretty excited about what I'm getting. I had a Roland SK-50 for almost 30 years before its speakers and power connectors finally died, so this will be a significant step up, I think. Thanks for posting this video review!

Hello sir, I am considering of buying a piano as a complete beginner to start learning something about music and have some fun. Since I need something that is not super big and I can carry on with me and move around, and since I only need to connect my keyboard to a computer, use the midi port or connect it to my iPad and use it with apps like Flawkeys, would you recommend the Piaggero-12? It was told me that weighted keys are fundamental to learn how to play the piano. Is that true of a mid-solution like this one would fit for me?

Thank You for the review! Regarding diapasons. As the sound on video at 2:46, the lowest note of Np-12 (61 key version) is С by Helmholtz or C2 by Scientific notation, i.e. Do of Great octave, the same as lowest note of violoncello, and Np-32 has lowest note the same as 4-string bass guitar lowest note, isn't it?

Are the keys the same sizes on both models? I heard the keys on the np12 are a little bit smaller than a regular size keyboard.
@Leonhart_933 жыл бұрын
Had the same worry, but no such thing. The space between the keys is an industry standard, for example an octave will always have the same span. The only thing is that on Np12 the keys are a bit thinner so there is like 1mm more of extra space between them. But the important thing is the total width, which is constant.

-sorry for my bad english- Hello, do you enjoy playing with the np-32 ? I wanna order one for me. Is it necessary to buy a pedal ? Because it seems really cheap.
@meatyout3 жыл бұрын
@@aeshi6986 I bought one but sent it back because I didn't like the action of the keys at all. To me, it feels very much like pushing on springs (with a fast return/rebound). I knew it didn't feel like a "real" piano but I expected something a bit closer. Plus, I missed the lower keys very much. A piano with 88 keys and no speakers on the sides is not much wider -- 2 inches more, or so --. Unless price is an issue and portability is important to you, I would suggest buying another DP, perhaps a P125? Importantly, I think it's not the right piano for a beginner who plans to study "seriously". The action of the keys might lead to bad habits, IMHO.

Hi. I would like to see a comparison between Yamaha Dgx 660 vs 515 P. Which is the best. Thank you.
@ayrtoninchejanampa68743 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm not the one in the video, the DGX660 is a digital piano with arranger functions, its keys are the most basic of Yamaha (GHS), and it has the sound of Yamaha's CFIIIS piano, that means it has many sounds and rhythms . On the other hand, the P515 is more of a stage piano, but with speakers, its keyboard is superior, because it is made of wood. It is basically a portable version of the Clavinva CLP series, because it has CFX binaural piano sounds and the sound of the Bosendorfer. They are somewhat different instruments, one is an arranger and the other is a stage piano.

Hi everyone. I had a NP-32. A total disappointing choice. What Yamaha needs to fix in this product and launch a possible NP-33/13: 1) Put the PSR-EW410 main piano sound on it. 2) Fix the speakers distortion above 80% (!). 3) Improve the keys action, that could be plastic, but not like a little toy. 4) Make the keys size like in a standard piano. Just that, because i liked the design and other sounds like the amazing onboard DX Piano. Now I changed it for a PSR-EW410 and is a very decent instrument. Though the NP series as it is, unfortunately no.
@ePianoscouk3 жыл бұрын
This is understandable - The speakers on the NP series are very small (they're more powerful and larger on EW-410) but it's designed primarily to be super lightweight, small and portable, so a compromise had to be made somewhere. The key mechanisms in fully, or semi-weighted keyboards add even more weight. For the size and weight they are the NP series are very good, but don't expect sound deep and rich, for this you'll need bigger speakers and amplifiers. We supply a lot of the NP series to people who use caravans, narrow boats or like to go busking. For this type of purpose they're great. But if you have space go for something like the P-45 or P125 which have fully weighted keys and better speakers/amplifiers. Hope that helps!
