Yes!! I’ve been trying to figure out what our first keyboard was when I started learning and it was either this or a very close model. Those multi pads reside in a deep, deep place in my memory!! Thanks for this vid!

Yes there were a few very similar models. Those harsh sounds certainly stick themselves in the mind :)

Have you ever thought about making keyboard videos showing the keyboards Demo songs? My favorite part about videos on electronic keyboards is when people showcase at least a few of the demo songs that the keyboard offers.
@gearfacts4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'd like to do that, and have in the past. The problem is that there is ALWAYS someone who claim to have written the tune, and they can file with KZbin to stop it being played unless they are given some money. Sometimes (usually in fact) the claim is totally bogus but it still has to be dealt with, and sometimes KZbin rules in their favor. So i just can't really do it although I would like to. I also have to be very cautious with saying negative things about gear ...the backlash from people who bought the item is just too much to deal with!! Ah this is life :) Great comment, gave me a chance to vent some frustration. Thank you for watching #gearfacts!

Hi Does this keyboard has the StarWars movie demo song? I have a familiar who has a very similar keyboard with the StarWars song and a similar green screen, two multiPads and many demo songs, but with no sound effects at all, but I don’t know if it’s that same model. Anyways, great keyboard

I don't remember it on this specific keyboard, but yes I'm sure I've hear that song on a Yamaha before.

@@gearfacts Yes, it does :) I have the same keyboard right next to me at the moment - around 00:26 in the video you can see the demo songs in the top right corner. Star Wars and A Whole New World.

this keyboard is essencially a psr 79 but with demo songs the psr 79 did not have. I have the bigger brother of this keyboard the psr 195 which I got when I was 18 but I'm considering selling it as I really want the psr 220 keyboard. as you may know I have the psr 260 so I really do not need the 195 as it has near enough the same sounds, minus the dj mode which the psr 260 has

Im a beginner, im looking at buying either this one (yamaha psr140) or the casio ctk560L, which one would you prefer or recommend? You're videos has been a great help!

Probably the Casio for its better sounds (NOT the key lighting!)
