The PSR E-3X3 series is really the best keyboard in its price range by far. People will rave about Casio CTX or CTS and Roland Go Keys, but nothing beat this series overall. Even if those other models have better sounds here and there, they all feel like toys, and the Yamaha is a freaking tank!

I have one. I bought it about 2 years ago just for my personal playing, and love the sounds. My only problem is trying to work out how to do somethings, like recording tunes i play and how to play them back. The instructions aren't exaughstive and it's hard to find any tutorials online that cover what I want.

A decent keyboard, OK for beginners but wouldn`t go furthur than that. I`ve played for years but stopped some time ago when the keyboard I had for years finally packed up. Started up again recently and thought I`d try this one and although it has some good sounds and styles, lacks overall quality which often makes it a bit difficult trying to get back onto some of my old stuff, even allowing for a bit of rustiness on my part. I probably will get another, likely a PSR E473 which is a class above this one, maybe should have got one of those to start with. One fault with the 373 which others have mentioned is that the registration memory doesn`t seem to work so you can`t save any setups, although it does save split point, fingering and touch sensitivity.

Following my newbie aspiration. I came up to this YA PSR E373 as being the perfect choice for someone like me. Feature rich, relatively affordable and most important with a series of readily available learning features. Perfect for the newbie. But lacking on the E473. From your own description. You already carry a baggage of experience even if slightly rusted. So I guess you're the target client for the E473. While my 0 experience makes the E373 the top of my aspirations. ;-)
@aj6954 Жыл бұрын
@@crpth1 The e373 should be fine for someone like yourself, I`ve never really looked into those learning features but they`re sure to be a help. The E473 is a bit more complicated but the styles are much the same as the 373 although there are more of them, and even though I`m a bit lazy when it comes to learning new features, it shouldn`t be too difficult to change. Meanwhile I`m happy to carry on with the 373 ftb, it has its limitations but is still a very useful instrument and seems to be quite popular.

You were making more noise with your figures by how you were hitting the keys so aggressively and clumsy than the sound coming from the machine, the video is not bad, but just because this keyboard is under couple hundred bucks doesn't mean you should treat it as a disposable. thanks for sharing though, enjoy.
