The front tread pattern looks like it’s backwards
@mediumugly43224 жыл бұрын
Chad Mckinney if you’re is the other way chances are yours is backwards, look at the arrow on the tire they normally do “look” backwards, it’s weird I know

I tried to put my axle back in and it wouldn't go through the other fork! Pounding it in ruined the whole axle and the fork! I had to sand down a lip on the fork and the axle and then ended up buying a new axle! I don't know how this happened! I think maybe my stand is not level?

Do you have a video for the rear tire removal/installation?
After doing the reinstall my front tire won't move, we took off the brakes and then the tire will turn, it is a struggle to re align the forks to the brakes so I'm guessing the forks are croooked? Any help is much appreciated, the fact of the matter is that my front tire won't move once all reassembled but once brakes are off it will move

Sounds like you have the wheel going the wrong direction. Look at the arrow on one of the spokes.

MikeE RideWNC you are amazing, yes I checked the back wheel and the spokes are facing one way while the front is the opposite, sounds to me like cycle gear who installed my front tire put it on the wrong way!!!! I will get it flipped tmrw morning! Thank you!

I’m having trouble getting the calipper bolts on my 06 r1 lined up any suggestions
On my 2014 R1 my dust cover thing is just the metal part! I'm having a hard time out the axle rod all the way thru

Porcupine7812 Make sure you grease the axle every time you pull the axle. Also try balancing the wheel on your foot. Then your hands can line up the wheel and push the axle through.

Sir how change handle bearing
@RideWNC4 жыл бұрын
I don't have a video. But it is quite easy. The hard part is that the entire front of the bike has to come off.

If I had a Benjamin Franklin for every tire I installed backwards, I would be rich and retired. It is very easy to do when the bike's owner is talking to me while I am working the tire machine. It gives me a lot of extra un-needed experience with the tire machine.
