Any issues with water or anything leaking into the tank? Since there is no longer a seal around the perimeter. Thanks!

I’ve never understood why they don’t make hinged keyless versions

Got the vortex gas cap. But I can't get a stock cap off. The key won't release unless it's locked in. Take cap off key won't release.

i looked at both of these and decided to go with TWM. it's cheaper, is a quick turn, relatively flush and comes in carbon or other colors. the graves one is just too basic. i also noticed when your bike is out in the sun, those gas caps gets really hot and if you have to spin it, you better have your gloves on.

Nice I haven’t seen the TWM caps. I used the graves over the weekend during my track day and didn’t have any issues with the sun. I’ll check out that TWM though!

Hey, did your cap ever get hard to unscrew when it’s hot out ?

Hi! Is it true that it builds up pressure in the tank after installing one of these? My friend have problem with the pressure according to him, after installing aftermarket gas cap.
@briandavis2726 Жыл бұрын
I know you mentioned one has the option of using it, but did you install the graves unit without the oem gasket? Really like the overall look of graves, but the gap between the cap and tank isn’t ideal for me. Also Graves sells their gas cap “tool” individually. Have you had any issues opening yours?
@MotoViceOfficial Жыл бұрын
The gasket will choke the airflow to the gas tank. The gas is really not bad and looks super clean in person. The only time i had issue with the tightness of the cap was when overtightened and on a hot day. I learned how hard to tighten it and never had an issue.

MotoVice! So I just realized that 19+ R1s come with stainless steel headers....I bought an SC projects exhaust and midpipe and left the stock headers...any idea where I can find JUST the titanium headers? Everywhere Im looking only seems to sell the full exhaust :(
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
So I wish I had better news, but I did a bunch of research and it doesn't look like anyone made titanium headers as a stand alone part from the full systems.
@atlasr13392 жыл бұрын
@@MotoViceOfficial rip. Looks like I'll be buying a full system and trying to sell the extra mid pipe and slip on 🤣😅

@@MotoViceOfficial All good! I found some titanium headers on ebay motors for just over $500! way cheaper than buying a whole new complete system lol

worse thing about these keyless caps is dropping the cap...would be better if it were hinged basically a machined aluminum version of stock but without a key instead unscrew and it is lheld on hinges...would be way safer more practical...face it we WILL drop these caps! it is NOT worth being "cool" to have no thether to the cap sorry it is a step backwards ....FUNCTION defines form (beauty) an ugly design is one that WILL cause problems...which is why choppers are ALL ugly IMHO
