Anyone who complains about their "wrists hurting" ... needs to learn how to ride a motorcycle. You are not supposed to rest your body weight on the handle bars. Most people can not endure the core work out that entails riding a sport bike correctly.

So i just took the rear pegs off of mine, and ive got to say, it REALLY cleans up the lines of the bike. And i can always throw them back on, if i ever think ill be two-up.

I had the Rossi edition 2005 R6 and the 2007 R6, I think that it would be better with traction control. But getting back to the topic of stereo types of bikes, I decided a while ago to make a bucket list: Own and ride a bike from all of the different manufactures. So I have had so far Yamaha R6 x2, Yamaha R1 2008, Suzuki GSXR 600 2009, Honda CBR 600 2007, Kawasaki ZX6R 2008, KTM RC8 2010, BMW S1000RR 2014 and now a Ducati 1299 Panigale S 2016. Still looking to get a Aprilia RSV4, MV Agusta and a Triumph.

Hmmm...I nerver saw it as an alternative to motovlogs but It's clearly more interesting to watch. On the other side i expect that it takes also A LOT more time to edit. I own a CRB 600 RR from 2012 and I agree that the tail section looks older than the R6. I updated mine a bit by moving the taillight back to the previous model's position which actually looked newer.Thanks for making these videos!Mike

For me Yamaha has even improved the looks on the 2017 from this 2008 on model I think the 2017 is stunning aesthetically 😍what its like to ride I can't comment as ive not rode one but ive heard nothing but great things!!! Full agreement with all the above. The R6 has to be the most NON-dated design of all the 600s. Which means they were ahead and others followed. I still love the CBR600s from 07-12 but their admitted dated looks seem like nostalgic-charm. Ya just have to appreciate the history/evolution of bikes. Btw, another great vid -- I like the staggered/pulsing editing in spots. (only you, can save the porn industry) LOL

Got myself the exact same model same colour I believe it's one the most good lookin bikes till now. The rear preload was 4/9 (factory setting) I had to lower it to 3/9 and then the fun began. Till then I thought it was very tiring. Now it's very comfortable but only when pushing it. I use it mostly on canyons and track days. It's truly an amazing bike to ride

I have a camera backpack with sections to have lenses and the camera body and then I put a mic inside the bag and a tripod on the side held on with a bungee cord! It’s not always easy but definitely worth it

I commute to highschool every day and sometimes when i get home i see parked in front of a house an r6 with what i think is the coolest design, the blue and white one, and god damn am i so exited every time i see it when im on the bus... i cant wait to get my license(a2 one cause eu laws) when i turn 18, probably this time next year ill have it... i would love to buy an r6 that is limited for a2 but i feel like i might die on it lol so ill stick to gettin a 250 or 300

@@jaycowper riding without a license can get you into prison for at least half a year in any country in the eu... dont do what he says... And for the first guy, you can probably find an r6 that you can put a limiter or already has one and you can ride it with an a2 license... seen people do that... yeah it might be dangerous cause its a 600 bike and you dont have that much experience with smaller bikes like 300s but you are at least doing it legally...

You forgot the 2017 also has bigger rotors in the front and all new suspension that is much better than previous gens. There are little things too like the shape of the seat and position, instrument panel, more aerodynamic, and my favorite all LED lighting.

Chaos Causes I wish my 2017 R6 had a tail section like yours. The underside of my tail section is that cheap black plastic. Yours is painted underneath like the rest of the fairings for a real clean look overall.

Chaos Causes I had my doubts about traction control but it actually saved me from laying down my bike. I was on a curve and came up on a large patch of sand that I could not avoid. Since the turn was so sharp I hit the patch with no time to react and still on the throttle. The rear wheel started to slip and TCS took over and saved my ass.

Nice vids, liked the part you pointed out about moto vlogs. Till you mentioned I've never paid attention to how easy they are and how much little effort is put in to make each one different. Am an R6 owner myself, the only thing i'm unhappy about is the colour. It's black, so a lot of detail (curves, accents, light, break lines etc) is lost when pics are taken. It just becomes one flat looking black bike. Love your videos. Why am i not subscribed? Oh wait, i just did...

I'm only familiar with 1000's but I love those 600s. Does it feel like your constantly changing gears to get to the exciting rev range? I was told by a bike mechanic that I'd never be satisfied with a 600cc. I find that hard to believe. It's just a different bike/ride. I love the size, even if it's only 30-40lbs different in some cases.

If "comfort" is subjective, then why are you trying to say that its not?? If it depends on who is riding it, then you cant say if its comfortable for everyone. That shouldnt be something that you need to "defend". My Ninja 400 makes my wrists go numb after an hour. But it wont for someone else.

just buy 2 sets of clothes,1 very breathable and 1 waterproof,make sure the waterproof one has removable winter padding and you are good all year around,also just look around for a bike,an r6 wont have too many bag mounting options but just google it on any bike you find and you will know instantly what your options storage wise are

R6 is the best out here after that comes the GSXR, Ninja and than CBR, there is some more but R6 is the first Bike to look for when you want to do Trackdays. But for some reason everyone loves the hayabusa here and say it is the best and they will disrespect all other Bike if they own one, and those kinda a people that made me hate the Bike.

R6 like yours,is the most beautiful bike,probably ever made? (my opinion even tho I ride a KTM 690 SM (duck)everyone hates the look). Soon I would like to swap from supermoto to supersport,as I start to do more trips,and a single cylinder vibrates my balls to death. Is it true that,even tho the R6 makes the most power at higher revs,thankfully for that,its such a blast to ride on low rpm's in town? (I heard that other SS bikes are twitchy on low rpm's,but the R6 shines).

I completely agree on all counts! Mines an ‘08. We don’t use that system here so unfortunately I can’t help you mate but I believe even if it’s got too much horsepower you can get them restricted

Gonna look into it, so far I love the '06 - '16 R6 above all the others, one of the things that also stands out for me is that the front lights remind me of Aprilia which is just bonus stuff, I like the looks on Aprilia also, but not as much as the R6. Dry roads !

@@RyaNewGame No, you can't get an R6 with an A2 licence. You can't restrict it either, since it has more than double the maximum of 35Kw.

I’ve tried that before and I personally love the looks of it and the smooth ending like you’re talking about but then it effects viewer retention because most people leave. So the abrupt ending is actually on purpose

They are uncomfortable. I have owned tons of other brands and they are the worse. Bars too forward, seat is flat and hard.
