I had a power commander + auto tune on 2017 R6... straight horrible set up. Removed the power commander and auto tune & Sent my ECU to Bause Racing... I think it was like $250. MAN, what a difference... shift lights come back to back... 160mph easily in standard mode... 160+ in standard... keep in mind R6 has "Race Mode" JEEZUS!!! I love my flash. I'm 170lbs and had a 150ish rider on a cbr600 pull up on me, look at me and take off.. he got about 2 bike lengths on me... walked his ass down & passed him. Skip the Power commander and get a good Flash and or Tune is my advice to anyone on a 2017+ R6.

Mr. ClutchFace The R6 in this video that’s who he was tuned by, before I tuned it. We got rid of that flash though 😎, even though that flash was decent they definitely left a lot on the table.

You don’t need to spend money on a power commander, just get the ecu flashed

What’s the difference on the 06-07 R6 compared to 08 and up? My ECU might have been flashed or unrestricted already because it has the PAIR and exhaust servo deleted already and no check engine light. Not sure what else just swapped blown engine.

That’s completely different motors, 08 is more powerful and has more technology like the variable velocity stacks among other things.

Daniel Calloway I’m not sure how to answer your question, as I don’t quite understand what you asking me. The older ZX6R doesn’t come as restricted wide open throttle as the other bikes however it is still restricted in other areas. Above 12k rpm it opens to 96% throttle which is a lot compare to other bikes however below that point it’s really restricted. Also just opening the restrictions is that the only thing that make it faster.
