I love the inline 4’s they just have that pissed off F1 car sound to them I love! The twins to me just sound like ATV’s or cruisers if their the bigger cc’s! But to each his own that’s why they make several different types not everything is for evverybody! My ideal bike may not be what your is!

Picked up an R7 on Friday. Rode up to Laguna Seca and did 880 miles. Fun bike. I’m loving it. That Two Brothers sounds bitching. Much better than the R77. Had a TB on my 05 R6. Definitely gonna get it. My neighbors will hate me 😂

The original R7 was an inline 4. This rendition is a twin. This one is a definitely more affordable version, as the original 749 cc engine was designed to race in the old 750 super bike class (oh how I miss that class) and the endurance races. That pizza on the other hand looked pretty damn good. No apps is kind of sad, but still, that pie looked incredible.

The fact that the police officer didn’t pull you over despite having a wicked exhaust puts my mind at ease for having a slip on. It’s not nearly as loud as a lot of bikes and hell, even some Jeeps and pickups out here haha, but I’ve heard so many stories of cops pulling over bikers along the PCH it makes me paranoid whenever I get close to a cop. Awesome sounding bike, absolutely perfect setup 👌

What battery is your mate getting fitted to his 1250? The Exide (black battery) model had a production error a few months back so was being switched out for the grey battery with the black top. There's also a 'optimisation' where the valves are adjusted to the tightest possible setting as when hot the bike struggles to get the ampage to turn the engine over it has that much compression. Not a fun bike to be pushing down the road when it can't start! Hope he gets it sorted! And I recommend if he doesn't use if for over 2 weeks he leaves it on a trickle charger. Especially if he has an alarm and tracker.

The r7 is basically the same bike as the mt07 and xsr700. I personally bought an mt07 recently and absolutely love it as a first bike. It's not crazy fast but more fun than a 300. Absolutely love the sound of them with an exhaust.

I'm loving your channel as always! I'll be honest, I nearly wrote this bike off as pointless because of the pathetic #'s compared to a comparatively sized 4cyl bike. I love the looks (and parallel twins tend to make their torque lower in the rpms, but with less HP and better fuel mileage). But what really has me intrigued is that grin-inducing sound with aftermarket exhaust! Dang Yamaha, I might have to get an R7 AND a GSX-R 750!

I completely understand your sentiments about liter bikes and but being able to have much fun with them on the streets. I have an fz1, I take that anywhere near the redline I'm in trouble, which is a shame because it feels amazing up there. Compared to my Miata which I can go full throttle through like 4 gears and still stay out of jail it's a different experience. I'm glad I waited until I was a little more grown up before I started buying fast bikes

The GSXR sounds so much better than the Yamaha but the Yamaha did sound pretty good. The pizza place sounds interesting, a 1000 degree oven is a little more than twice the heat of a normal oven. I had the 1250 gs for a bit, had the same issue a few times, nothing to do with the battery for me anyway. It was to do with a sensor that thinks the bike has crashed and will not let you start it. Usually by just pushing the bike at the same time as pushing ignition button worked for me - hope this helps

This is why you use your bike and work on it in your spare time so you don’t have these problems! Obviously a $25 battery tender would have saved that $100 battery that will need to be replaced now or your bike will act and be junk! And if you keep letting things go pretty soon it’s a turd you can’t even ride! But to each his own maybe he doesn’t have time people do have to work I feel that!

All of my bikes have a battery tender, the bikes computer had a known issue/bug with the computer/battery, bike was re flashed at the dealer (under warranty) and the issue has been fixed. I ride everyday and have for almost 47 years straight but I’ll take your advice to heart.
