had a conversation with the owner of tst, he's definitely thinking about making a injection molded rear tail to bring back the R style that the rest of the line has. I absolutely can't stand that tail and I'm thankful that someone is at least wanting to come out of a different rear for it.
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
That’s awesome and yea bro if anyone can come up with a solid solution for the tail it’s definitely Bart
@SuperPukingRainbowsАй бұрын
@@ScoutsOut I can't wait, probably take a year for it to come out but I think it'll make the bike look way better and I truly hope he does make it happen
@TSTindustriesАй бұрын
@@SuperPukingRainbows we have been given so many new bikes for 2024 and 2025 that we are currently drowning in projects. This is a good problem to have but it will take some patience from all the bike owners out there as we deal with the overwhelming amount of work we will need to take on. I am committed to designing something awesome for the rear of that R9, but it will in fact take a while to get to the market. Like with most of the parts we roll out with....it will be worth the wait.

yo im so glad you brought that up the tail bothered me so much

I think the wings does give it a GP look. I just really wanna see it in person. Hard to believe the R9 is actually slightly BIGGER size wise then an R1
@ScoutsOut4 күн бұрын
Yea the wings grew on me, that engine is just super wide. I’m sure it took some effort in getting it as slim as they could
@LoopsFroottАй бұрын
I think "A first look" is more accurate than "Review".

good point, ill add that to the title...thanks

Super cool. Just put my deposit down for an allocation in March. I've had 2 R6's before but definitely looking forward to the new R9 next year.
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Nice dude, I put my deposit down too. It’s going to be a good bike

When I bought an r7 almost a year ago, I referenced your videos a lot for maintenance & mods. Thanks to that series I became comfortable working on my sportbike myself as a laymen. I know this isn’t a beginner bike but feel free to post some videos about maintaining it and modding it so that I can watch as I go when I have enough bread to buy one & take a wrench to it
@ScoutsOut17 күн бұрын
nice dude, im glad the R7 vids have helped out. I will be doing more soon for the r7 and hopefully a series on the r9 as well.

So i was actually looking at the front headlight setup in the CAD rendering available in Yamahas “AR” view of the bike. There are gaps on the sides and above the center light that do allow airflow through them. Obviously not the big opening as before, but its still there!
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Dude that’s awesome I didn’t know you can get those. I did see air could go buy but it was hard to see if it funneled into the intake
@ExPhantomHDАй бұрын
I like the tail. Makes it look futuristic
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Yea it actually does, who knows I might just grow to love the design
@itsmeericbАй бұрын
I can’t wait for mine to show up! Going to be a fun bike for sure. 💪

Nice! I just dropped deposit a few days ago I can’t wait either I’m hearing march April so will see

@ I put a deposit on mine a few days after it was announced. My dealer has told me my bike will be the first one to show up to their store and it will be in January. They even showed me the order/shipment document of all the R9’s coming to their dealer.
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Ohh damn, that’s awesome I hope they come that early here too

Loved my R7, would definitely consider one of these in the future
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Yea bro me to, I’ll probly get the r9 but can’t see myself getting rid of the r7 it’s just to good of a bike
@johnzeitouni243Ай бұрын
I’m doing the same, probably just suck it up and have both lol. My wife has started stealing the R7 anyway
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
That’s perfect bro, the wife gets the r7 and you still get to ride it lol
@adamheeley285Ай бұрын
Ill be honest, the looks are growing on me. its only really if you are looking at it head on do you notice how boxy the stabilizer wings make it look.
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Yea bro I feel the same way
@VS-yv8ykАй бұрын
Did you feel the body position is more comfortable than the R7? 👀
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
It’s definitely more comfortable imo but without a long ride it’s hard to be sure. It’s still a super sport so I’m sure it won’t be comfortable for long rides
@bluestang187Ай бұрын
No way on the tail waited for this to come out but I decided to grab another r1 instead hopefully the change in the future
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Yea bro the r1 is suck, I just got to see the 2025. I might have to get o e this year before they are gone for good
@TrailTalesАй бұрын
That is a pruuurrrdddyyy bike... But.. One would think that there would be a better engineering/stylistic answer to those exhaust regulations... Something that's not that horrid under-body ... thing... that they used... And somewhere along the line hey've just decided that all bikes are gonna go with that licence plate extension arm and then everybody has just started bolting it to theback of the bike like that's what has to happen.
@wlt3585Ай бұрын
Those exhausts are just BEGGING to get taken off. I have no issues with a catalytic converter, but if its gonna get integrated into the exhaust, its all coming off
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Totally, you know that’s exactly what happened to the ridiculous license plate contraption they put on all sport bikes lol
@ScoutsOutАй бұрын
Yup that will have to go and man is that engine going to sound awesome with a full exhaust one it
@TheOriginalJadolphАй бұрын
I think they know the vast majority of owners are going to remove the stock exhaust anyway, so why bother doing anymore than passing the stupid emissions? If anything, engineer it to be easy to remove lol
@warlock54Ай бұрын
What type of cameras do you use? Can you make a video of your video and sound equipment?

I mainly use my Sony ZV-E1 with a 24mm 1.4 GM, love that thing. I’ll see if I can through a cam set up vid together it would be a fun vid to make

I've still got the 2007 R1 I bought new and have been wanting to upgrade but Yamaha hasn't released anything since then that has been at all interesting to me. All these new bikes are so boring.
