So does the indent in the clutch boss go straight up with the motor tilted forward like yours or straight up when the motor is in working position(as it would be installed in the quad)?
@JOATD Жыл бұрын
It doesn't have to actually be pointing up I just point the clutch hub up so that I can match the pressure plate arrow with it. Whatever way the arrow is pointing on the clutch Hub the pressure plate Arrow has to match it.

Can u give me a part # for the warped spring?? Also my pull rod didnt have have a washer or bearing.. thanks
@JOATD9 ай бұрын
Do you mean that lock washer that I put on. The part number is on the screen when I install it I think it also depends on what year 660 you have. If you go all the way down to the bottom of my description area I have the actual manual and it'll show you the part numbers to the parts and if you need the bearing and washer.

I did everything but for some reason my clutch is stuck in a engaged state tried messing with clutch release rod that goes to cable but still no luck
@JOATD Жыл бұрын
I think where the mistake maybe is when you put the clutch release back in the case you didn't set it correctly before you close the case you have to move the clutch release to make sure that it's actually grabbing the teeth to pull the clutch all the way off if not the clutch will stay engaged. It'll feel like the clutch is separating but it'll still be slightly engaged. Go back to 14:22 ti see what I am talking about.

Hi, Is that a stock Yamaha clutch pack? Also on the clutch plates does it matter which way they go in, one side has a rounded out side edge, the other side has square out side edge? I ask this because a Tusk competition clutch kit has the plates or steels that have an outside rounded edge or flip them over and they have a square outside edge. You install them all the same way either all square outside edges out or all the round side edges out. Thank you!
@JOATD5 ай бұрын
It doesn't have a particular orientation you just need the square side facing the same way. Either all square facing inward or all square facing outward

@MrJose1296 Жыл бұрын
Nope actually he’s right it’s a 30mm I went to the store to buy a 36mm because of your video but turns out it was to big so I bought a 30mm and it was spot on
@JOATD Жыл бұрын
Maybe it's just different on different years or it could just be different on mine. who knows just happy you guys got the right socket.
