In 2006 my dad when to DHY and bought 2 quads brand new. A green Honda Rancher 400 for me and a blue Raptor 700r for himself. I was only 13 and that was the right first quad for me at the time but once I learned how to ride one down 4 up, it was game over. I miss that atv......

on my 08 Raptor I have the HMF, had the Trinity before that. on my 19 raptor I am running an Alba exhaust and tune.

I like the old plastics better. It looks like a sharper slicker version of the 660. The new ones don’t look as good as the old ones. Better color schemes on the old ones too. It seems like they are running out of ideas with the color schemes for the raptor but There still are some pretty nice colors that they put out like the yellow 2016 or the grey 2014. Wouldn’t be mad if I got one of those.

And i assume the LTZ 400 guys were just kidding but if weren't i regretfully inform you that it is the bastard love child of an Arctic Cat Kitty Cat and a Kawasaki Tecate. You really should come out of the dark ages and move up to a machine with similar power but at least has reverse Like the Raptor 350

My bad it was in the comments. Two separate individuals who somehow missed the overwhelming obvious fact that all your content is Yamaha offroad products and they both asked you to do a Suzuki LTZ 400 history. My lousy attempt at making a joke of them asking was bringing in the 2 other companies who sold the identical machine Suzuki ltz 400 Arctic Cat dvx 400 n Kawasaki kfx 400 were all the same with different stickers i don't know which of those companies actually designed and manufactured it. Im a Yamaha guy too know them inside out for the most part like the 87-90 Warriors almost no interchangeable parts in the 1st years 01 660's best subframe best rear shock different harness and cdi and mid 01 transmission upgrade. Sorry rambling

In 2015 the heads and crank changed a bit. Single port head vs dual port head. Cuervo racing has some good videos where he explains the differences with the new cranka
