Yamaha Raptor 700 ATV Sport Quad Riding in Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area THE DUNES (PART 3)

Twinkles and I headed off to the Oregon Dunes last week for a much needed vacation and to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary! We're on vacation! We spent a couple of days riding the Yamaha Raptor 700 ATV four wheelers around the sand and exploring new sections of the dunes we had never visited before. One more ride with the Raptors before I bring out the Banshee!

it's true lol they really hug the terrain now. I'm kind of a rookie at wheelies in sand, more used to riding in good old dirt!

friggin sand stars are getting kind of old now. i paid $50 for the pair on rims used 5-6 years ago and they have also spent a year or so on the roof holding a tarp down lol

Dune stars are amazing for the raps torque, they hardly flex under hard acceleration and provide max traction for ITP sand tires imo.

I'm from Redding...just finished my raptor rebuild...from the frame up...i actually sprayed the frame with cerakote! Lol. Ready for test rides. Great to see you guys enjoying yourselves..thank you for the content

@@trailblogger the engine had been rebuilt recently...long story. About 10 hours on fresh engine but the bike was thrashed...every bushing and bearing was gone! Now its basically a new bike...I cleaned every last nut and bolt...pics on IG _momento_mori_art_

it's not hot in Oregon! you gotta realize we are normally in 105-110F heat in California. In Oregon on the coast a hot day is 80s lol

i would just call them up and they can help you out! the rim size you can use a regular tape measure.

So my first quad I ever rode was a Big Bear 350 and they are awesome machines but they are tanks. They are very unstopable though and will go anywhere with a good set of tires

The whole place is massive and made up of several areas, coos Bay, spin reel, horse falls Florence, boxcar, and Winchester Bay. Winchester Bay alone is like 7 miles with 500ft dunes

I've had them about six months and so far I've only had to add air once and that was when I left them sitting in the garage over the winter

zero issues so far. only had to air them up 3 times and once was because i wanted to try a new setting. the other two it was in storage for a few months and i think the temp change made the pressure off (colder air)
