Always love to see RS700 videos. This was my very first pro audio instrument.

That's awesome! You still got it?
@marcelzoer3655 Жыл бұрын
Yes Yes Yes 🙌 🎉. This makes me so happy. Again you show the creativity of the RS. I can’t hardly believe I never used the Loop Remix function before you showed it . Thanks for the great video.

My pleasure, Marcel! I'm glad you find it useful.

Damn that it looks in good condition!! Almost as good as new. Wish I had a chance to buy one in this condition.

You might, with patience! Ask around in the Facebook groups. Not everything that's for sale is listed somewhere.

Great video and awesome loop with Warp IDM vibes.

Thank you! The RS is THE IDM machine. Almost everything instantly turns into old Warp Records style.

Always good to see a new #RS7000 video. This made me remember how good it can sound if you not using all 16 tracks at once to make beats. I'm in the process of moving all my RS beats to the Akai Force, but I sampled all of the RS drums into it & they still sound great especially after you add the filter & FXs. This synth will make a great sound source for auto-sampling.
@infiniteheight Жыл бұрын
I hear you. I rarely use more than eight, sometimes a ninth channel for sfx...which seems to be good practice when I'm working in the daw too, tbh...cool that you're repurposing the old beats. Would be good to listen to it one day :)
@Noise-Conductor Жыл бұрын
@Sonny Nieuwenhuizen I didn’t mind if it didn't sound good because I was just using the RS as a sketch pad & and I knew I would replace most of the sounds later. I'll keep you posted with the new RS music. But it may be a while because first I still have to transfer music from other machines from over the 21 years I've been making music. When I'm done, I'll take the best sketches & have enough music to make 5 albums that I plan to release as a series. People like to binge nowadays...

Use use my rs7000 with the modx work great together. Thinking about getting the Akai one or the maschine plus.
@Noise-Conductor Жыл бұрын
@@dave3987 The Force is closer to RS7000 than the MPC. Never used the Maschine so I can't speak on it. I hope you find what's best for you.

My RS is getting an overhaul so i hope it's a simple repair. That thang has more knobs then competitive work stations/Arrangers as KORG NOW calls it🎼 8:00
@infiniteheight Жыл бұрын
I hope so too for you! IMO, what's on the market today is very different from the Yamaha, Korg and Roland machines from 20 years ago. The manufacturers have moved in different directions. Gaining speed and power but losing something along the way as well.

i sold my rs 7000 3 years ago because i wanted to work more with software / cubase, after endless problems with software updates and these stuff i buy another rs 7000, i miss it daily in my studio,and I'll be happy if I have one in my studio again!! Your RS looks very clean mate do you find a new one after all these years?!?
@infiniteheight Жыл бұрын
Yes, I have reached the same conclusion. If it's a piece of gear that gets some use, it should never be sold. You never know how you'll feel about it later :) I got mine a few years ago from someone who hadn't used it much, who in turn had bought it in mint condition. I see some clean ones every now and then. Good luck!

Have the RS7000 for many years in my home studo. Started with the RM1X (still have it). But this is a great video. I never red the manual or sit behind the 7000 to really understand the logic etc. I will absolutely give it a try after seeing this video. Thumbs up!

Hey Mark, thank you for your comment! I hope you'll have a good time with the machine, it is worth spending some time with because it's really a unique instrument.

Do you have sample packs for sell Maestro?
@infiniteheight Жыл бұрын
Hello Domingo! Thank you for your interest. Have a look on the channel. Under many videos you'll find a download link in the description for the RS project file, and they're for free! Under the latest video there's an option for paypal donation (echoplain2music [at] gmail [dot] com) if you find the projects helpful and wish to support my work! 👍😃 For sample packs...if you search on Loopmasters you might still find a couple of packs I made in the past. Maybe new ones will be announced on the channel soon! Thanks! Sonny

Wish I’d picked one up before they passed the 500 mark, trying to save for a Waldorf iridium and one of these for 800 is really going to set me back, then add on the learning curve for both, there’s just not enough time. Can anyone tell I’m trying to talk myself out of it 😂
@infiniteheight Жыл бұрын
FWIW I got mine for more than 500 a few years ago. Then again, it was and is pretty much "as new". With some patience you could score one for less. That said, to me it is worth even more than 800.

Love your videos...🎉 But...can you do more tutorial for beginners? This is a wonderful but very deep machine for a beginner 😢. It will be very usefull a complete and simple tutorial of all the function and possibilities of this Yamaha so that a complete newby can understand ❤ can you help us? Thanks a lot ! Subscribed and liked 🙏
