If you want to change the algo, save in a User slot program - right? Very nice review tho, and enterteining as well Only one suggestion, I like more "dry vs wet" A-B when checking effects, as I do not have much experience. I just picked a SPX2K, will use it with good Genex converters on a fully analog setup. I think that it is a very useful machine for a pure analog setup, esp with midi control etc, makes it powerful Most classics from Yamaha like snare verb, symphony and delays are in the box... i think that's the point with this thing really Not so sure of it being incredibly useful for a hybrid/digital context, plugins are so good already

I've heard a couple versions: 1) styrofoam, 2) popular drugz, 3) shattered tempered glass, 4) snow. I'm opting for the last version.

Great video. I bought an SPX2000 as 'comfort' reverb for the singer. I also have a TC Helicon Voice One, TC Helicon Voiceworks and a TC Electronic D-Two that the singer can choose as 'comfort' sound through their headphones. I usually record the dry voice and two of the effects boxes listed if I am using one mic, and both dry signals and all four effects if I am using two mics. I do like the control app for the SPX200 because I can change the sound for the singer from the mixing desk without standing in front of the box. My recording studio is a back bedroom and very tight for space and the less moving around the better! (My recording desk doubles up as a mixing desk for post-processing by way of a KVM switch and a second 'big' computer with 32Gig and 8 cores/16 threads. The recording PC has no fans for 'perfect' silence.)

Thanks for the review! I’ve got two spx2000 units which I’m not using since I’ve moved to mix ITB, the reason I’m not using them is the lack of a plugin control, ever since I’ve installed the plugin control for my Bricasti I can’t look back..
