I like the almost zen mood of your videos Richard. In some ways they are a bit like those of Journey Rider who also features Japanese nature and the SR400 in a calm, relaxed production. Can I ask you - does the electronic ignition of the SR400 adapt itself to the non-standard exhaust silencer, or do you need to manually re-program the EFI unit? If this was a carburettor version of the bike, you would need to re-jet the carb to maintain the proper air fuel mixture. I am thinking of buying a second hand SR400 and this would be useful to know. Thank you.

Thank you for watching my video. My SR400 is FI, but I have not changed the muffler or made any fuel adjustments. I don't think there is any problem with a slip-on type muffler, but I think it would be perfect if the ecu data was rewritten.
