I just purchased my 2023 super tenere. So, i need to purchase the little side wing wind deflectors, I need to purchase some luggage for the bike. Right now, I have nothing to carry stuff. I would like a visor on the windshield. Since I am living off my military retirement and VA disability, I need some time to recover financially to purchase the upgrades.

Thanks for your video on your XT1200 .Best mods. I had a power commander and dyno tune with arrow decat headers and GPR slip on with one of the restrictors removed. So smooth/torque and a pleasure to ride sounds mean and has bark when roll on . Hepco and Becker bash plate headlight guard and Givi crash bars. Enduristan saddle bags and Krieger tank and seat/rack bags. Also a carbon rear hugger mudguard . Super reliable since new in 2013 love it. Never dropped it and don't want to. 30,000km

ECU flash really improved the smoothness of downshifting and removed the REV limiter - making the first three gears more useful!

I have a 2012 and the buffeting is probably my biggest complaint about this bike. I’ve tried a number of windscreens and the Madstad adjustable is the best so far. My favorite upgrade though is suspension. Had mine rebuilt by a pro and it makes an incredible difference, especially off-road.

Thanks for sharing! Did you purchase a Madstad Windshield as well or just the adjustable bracket? I find the suspension is better on the second generation (I have the ES model) in case you end up looking at a 2014 +

@@beauty-love-play8484 I bought both the bracket and the windshield, as I was on a road trip and making a local purchase. It was a package deal. So far it’s been pretty good although I have been curious about putting the V stream windshield on the madstad bracket to see if that might be even better. When I am riding off-road, I have a cut down stock windscreen that I like to use. If I’m doing lots of highway miles, I like the bigger touring windscreens. 👍

My favorite modification to mine was taking the Jimmy Lewis Off Road Essentials course in Puhrump NV. Better yet was taking it and practicing the techniques on my Beta dual sport. They transferred directly to my Super Tenere.

My favorite mod was an ECU flash to get rid of the fuel cut during decel. Reduced the engine braking a lot. Makes it so much smoother - no more nose dives when cancelling the cruise. Shifting is way smoother. Decided to not sell the bike after the flash. Love it.

One of my favorite additions is the 5-7 Litre tank bag from SW Motech. It holds my wallet, phone, sunglasses and ear plugs for quick access.

@@beauty-love-play8484 I didn’t buy a seat, or change foam/cover. Flat seat mod just consists of changing the 2 round black bumpers to thinner ones sold by Yamaha. Once changed the seat sits flat, and quits pushing you toward the tank….. It 100% changes the ergonomics of the bike for the better, or at least for me. Try "2 wheel dyno works" in Kirkland, Washington. They have great rates and you can mail in your ECU for the FLASH. Power Commanders are excellent as well, but I wanted to use the professionals to finely tune this after all my mods. I highly recommend as your engine breaking will be much smoother and makes the first 3 gears more usable with higher RPM'S.

Storm exhaust actually sounds better for me, from your clips. I know Yoshimura is more premium, but does it worth the extra cash? Anyway , any pipe is better than stock.

Thanks for your comment! The Storm is a really good exhaust, but the Yoshi definitely has more of a big dirt bike flavor and richer tone. It's hard to hear the nuances via KZbin compression, etc. But for me the Yoshi really shines and is worth the extra dough! Happy riding!

Thanks for watching! These are the Heli Bar risers specifically for 2014+ Tenere. They were a headache to install because you have to add the included brake line extensions, etc. but has made all the difference - especially when standing off road. I would recommend!
