Today I got stranded with my T7. Fortunately I had ordered from you and received this bypass plug. Saved my day really. The side stand switch is a weak link in the chain. I believe a stone must have damaged the side-stand-switch-mechanism as I did see small metal parts coming out of it including miniature springs and metal plates. This happened of course while riding gravel and off-road. I am not sure if I'll get a new switch or just leave the plug where it is. However I definitely need some kind of reminder like a small warning sign of some sort. WARNING: REMEMBER SIDESTAND. Lastly I will confirm that it is quite possible to plug the bypass without removing any panels. It did take me some time to figure out though, being calm and having patience is key. Thank you for your product.

Much better than the usual 'bodge', ...neat idea. Have you got different graphics on your bike....? Cheers, Steve

being able to start the bike again once you dropped it stupidly in the middle of nowhere... had this with an KLR 250 once in Thailand. Sidestand up, but bike won't start. So we had to bypass the cables on the trail (cut the cables and bypass it). I like his simple solution here for the T7.

This is dangerous! In an hurry moment you will go with the side stand down and in the first corner at left, you will be in trouble! If sometging brokes in offroad, i prefer to cut and to put wires togeheter for the moment.
