We've had our Wing for over a year now. We upgraded from the X32 because we were out of inputs. We run about 35 to 40 channels, many of them stereo, and we use about 24 outputs. All of this IO is through AES50, so the IO on the console is mostly for attaching computers in the sound booth and recording on Logic via USB. So far, we have not experienced any problems with our console. It is fast and stable and fairly easy to train volunteers to operate. Configuring the board out of the box required a significant amount of research, but once that was done the rest has been easy. We use all four stereo mains for PA, livestream, front fills, foyer. Each with a their own multi-band compressor. We also run 8 to 10 stereo in-ears and mix those at FOH. Great FX, pitch correction, EQ, etc. with very minimal latency and low noise floor. So far, so good.

I have been using the Wing for 2 years now. I am mixing brass bands, rock bands and big bands. So usually the Wing manages about 25-30 inputs, 5-7 Monitors and Main Out as well as Delays or Front Fills. I connect it to a Midas DL32 as well as a daisy chained SD8. It does a reliable, solid job. It is absolutely flexible and sounds extremely well. I love this console

The x32 was released in 2012 and several years later, the x32 has no rival in the market to beat its resilience, flexibility, ease of use, options, networking capabilities, amazing sound at its price range so much the Behringer peoples have run out of spare parts to fix broken x32 mixers which customers prefer holding onto and getting fixed, rather than venturing into the new Wing. If you want to upgrade your X32 for whatever reason, get the Midas M32... which is a premium version of the X32 and will easily intergrate with your current hardware be it the P16s, S32 or DL32s, SD16, etc...

used both consoles a lot and have to say the wing is far more ahead and having more local I/Os IMHO is not really an advantage in digital times except you are looking forward to using an analog multicore cable to the stage.... on big thing to mention though is better support for Yamaha products but technically Behringer is not even in the same class and hard to compare

Stage Connect system is 32 chs total, not 32x32.. I/Os are 16 ch units, so yes they.daisy chain and transfer POE as well . Midas currently offers 3 different Stage Connect configurations. The DN 4816-I has 16 line level Inputs. The DN4816-O has 16 Line Level Outputs. The DN 4888 has 8 Line Level Inputs x 8 Line Level Outputs . There is a software package to configure setups. No SC mic pre boxes yet ! The Wing absolutely crushes both the X/M32 and the TF sonically and functionally...although MT's Dev Team has boned purchasers with horrible communication/customer service / Years of major Touchscreen problems (recently finally worked out) / not providing a real owners manual, no updated training video's / no offline editor / an advertised "show control" system that is still complete Vaporware. And in typical Tribe fashion... USERS are expected to be the engineering problem finders and are the only real source to get knowledge/ "Current Firmware Version" training. Behringer Wing Videos have never been updated in over 2 years now and there have been many many FW updates since then, none have addressed the advertised "show control vaporware" nor has the company ever put out a statement as to when this "vaporware" will finally become a reality. The Wing is an AMAZING desk, but IMO. MT/Behringer's Customer Service is inexcusably horrible. As mentioned It takes most users up to a year for repairs...I've waited longer than that to send bad consoles in knowing the repair shops have no parts in stock. and no access to parts for the foreseeable future. All being said I'd still by far pick a Wing easily over the TF, no comparison, not even close in my book...but I'm also smart enough to have a backup Wing ready to go at all times. I've purchased/installed/owned 8 Wings in the last 3 years and have been lucky enough to only have problems w one, that we believe was a PSU issue and it was in a rehearsal not a show fortunately. The console shut down for 2 secs rebooted back up to the exact user state and ran perfectly fine. This actually happened to me 2 different times strangely enough which is why its now a shop programming console only. The crazy thing is, at the price they cost.. compared to any other desk with the same functionality (if you can find one) of the Wing... you can easily afford a spare or 3.

I can't afford spares. If I'm plunking down thousands of dollars on a console, I expect it to work the first time, and every time! One console failing out of 8 is NOT an acceptable track record! You've actually just talked me out of a Wing. Given there are Midas-branded SC boxes, but no Midas-branded mixers that use them, I'm guessing there's a refreshed Midas console coming soon. My M32R has been brilliant for me on small shows, but I've been shopping around for a larger console for bigger shows. The Wing is a fabulous concept... Too bad it's just so Behringer. I'm also hoping Yamaha will be refreshing their lower-cost consoles. The QL and CL are long in the tooth, and although the PM3 is, in a way, a refreshed CL5, it's considerably more expensive. Sigh... Guess I'll stick with my M32R for now.

Hand down the Wing wins. Comparisons of Yamaha CL vs the Wing even come out overwhelming in favor of the Wing. Maybe Wing vs Quantum, Rivage, or D-Live

Salesman at well known online dealer told me they move more TF than any of the other mixers in that price range. Despite all the negative comments so many have it appears to be a popular console. Part of that may be because of availability issues with some consoles

Ths is not a comparation. 80 % of the time you spock abaut Behringer products. Wath comparation is this ? You spock abaut the behringer x 32 more then abauth the yamaha tf and the behringer x 32 its not ivan in this video tiopic. Its shoking to discover ZERO informations about the sound and the sound is the most important. Sorry for my eanglish bat......this comparation is iven worst. No informations conectid with the fx number and coality. No information of preamps coality , zero information or comparation of the sound. Zero audio testing and compatration bitwin the 2. No sampling rate and bits comparation. No studio testing and latency or recordinc practicability comparation. Faders fealling. internal components . Dinamics , Fx DSP , HArmonix or caracter of the sound . No informations. Only a video with the 2 mixers and 2 peapel speaking abaut an x 32 not prezent in the image.

You missed couple things. Mainly the difference on touch screen. Wing have one of the best touch screen. So reliable and responsible. On the other hand, like dlive, doesn't. (Okay, I have used only one but oh boy how horrible it was. And it have been calibrated but still wont work well). And even seems that TF5 touch screen is lagging. I have used that console (wing) about 4 years and never had a single problem. I know many places where is a wing and same thing. Zero problems. So I can't agree on reliable point. The workflow is only bad thing but only at start. When you get used to it, it is fast and so plesent to work with. And thirf thing is the feeling. Wing is smooth and it just feels great. Compared to TF5 it is superior. Again today I justtested TF5 and it feels horrible. Faders motors are slow and not reliable. I haven't used TF5 that much so I can't have strong opinion about it but one thing is sure, it is overpriced. PS. I apologize my english grammar. I am not fluent and will not be😅

I think it is good to consider that on the TF5 you can customize your wokflow by pressing on input 2 and output at the same time. And besides that, the 4 knobs under the touch screen are also customizable. I think it is a pretty overlooked thing, as I use them very often

Wing is very very powerful mixer. TF5 cant match the quality of behringer wing.
