It’s so rare to see an honest and unbiased sponsored review on KZbin these days! Honestly, you have to watch multiple KZbin videos on products and read between the lines most of the time. He didn’t sugarcoat anything and if something wasn’t there he said it directly instead of dancing around the point. It helps this is a phenomenal product but he also showed you how to use the amp, it’s functions and the app as well. Most genuine review I’ve seen on this so far! Most KZbin reviews have a subtle (or not) change in the pitch of their voice like a commercial over emphasizing the pro’s, while indirectly and evasively explaining the cons with a positive spin… or not at all. Again, I know people make money from this platform, but I’ve seen so many successful channels with hundreds of thousands if not millions of subscribers give over hyped positive reviews while failing to inform the customer of the real life experience or potential issues because they want you to click their link. I understand it but this should be the review on Yamaha’s website tbh. I just bought a new Fender player plus strat in Olympic Pearl w/Candy Apple pick guard that’s the most beautiful guitar I’ve ever seen in person! Normally don’t use affiliate links but this guy deserves it. I’m playing on my Roland Micro Cube GX but would like more modeling and this is definitely the amp for me…. or the Boss Katana MKII 50w. But as a new player with a serious axe to sharpen this sweet little Jam-ah-ha box is calling me. Great review and I wish the Yamaha made me play like you 🤘

I was going to get the 30, but ended up grabbing the base model 10ii without the wireless and I love it! For my needs it's perfect. I already have wireless transmitters, I don't need to take my amp to the park or anything so the batteries aren't worth it to me, and with my phone handy I can access all of the tones that don't come standard on the base model. I also play a little bass and it's soo cool to be able to plug my bass into this thing. Also, it looks awesome. Perfect little home studio, home office, or even living room amp.

The major difference between the THRii and the original THR that you didn't mention is that the new THRii has all three of the older models in one amp. Meaning the classic, boutique, and modern amps. Do you like the acoustic sounds? Ok ... sorry for so many questions;-)

hi Jonathan , I'm looking for a practice amp but also for an amp that I can take with me for the occasional jam with my band at the park or a simple busking set up, do you think, the 30II would be good or is the sound at high volume levels distorted or farty, I play to many different styles but mostly Cumbia, funk,Chicha and starting with Surf

Hi...I think the THR will do the trick...✌♥

Nice review, but I have a question. If you set the parameters through the app, can you still adjust the volume knobs without losing the preset? I would guess that adjusting any other knob would kick you out of the preset, but hoping adjusting volume won’t do that..

I'm not sure..the review was done a while back. try google! ✌♥

@@JonIsJustTooLoud Thanks. I found one guy on the internet with the answer. Hopefully he is correct. In case anyone else wants to know, here is what he said: “I just had a play with my THR10. I opened the app to and setup one of my presets, I set the app gain to 10 and then the physical knob to 1. I then pressed the preset and all the knob graphics in the app changed to the preset values i.e. 10 for gain, and so did the sound. When I touched the physical gain knob slightly (so the amp knew I was changing it), the gain knob graphic in the app jumped down to match the physical value (1). For all the other knob graphics they stayed at the values of the preset, even though the physical knob values were widely different. They only changed to the physical knob values when I touched each of them individually. So it would seem that only the knob you touch then resets to whatever the value of the knob is. If you don't touch the dial, it will stay at the preset level.”

which one for playing on a small room? Thr10ii is enough? It's only about volume or 30 watt has a better sounding options?

Yes the 10 will be enough ✌️❤️

Does the wireless only work with the Line 6? I just got the Boss WL50. Thanks!

Would you say this would be better for a bedroom only player compared to the blackstar silverline? I can't seem to make my mind up since they don't have either in a store where I live.
@JonIsJustTooLoud5 жыл бұрын
you will have to decide what you need and your surroundings. 🤓✌
@lulua40525 жыл бұрын
Fair enough. I think I'll just get the silverline that way if anything was to happen where I play outside of home. I wouldn't need to buy a regular size amp. Thanks for the help :D

Lulu A Hey witch one did you buy and how do you like it? I’m having the same issue myself between THRII10 or 30 and Blackstar Silverline Standard (20 Watt). I need it for low volume use mostly but it would be nice if it didn’t sound like a bee trapped inside a beer can.

Subscribed!👍 Hello Jonathan, just a quick question. Would you recommend either amp for Yamaha's SLG200S silent guitar? I'm curious as to whether they would compliment the guitar's inbuilt srt.
@JonIsJustTooLoud4 жыл бұрын
Yes I do!✌♥...But if i'm not wrong there an acoustic guitar version...

@@JonIsJustTooLoudAwesome! I'll definitely look into the acoustic guitar version.

Have you tried the THR 10X? How does it compare to the THR30II?
@JonIsJustTooLoud2 жыл бұрын
No I have not✌️❤️
@CameronCooper2 жыл бұрын
The 10X is designed to model hi gain amps and sounds a little beefier than the 30II. However the 30II suits a lot more genres and sports a lot more useful features that the 10X doesn't have

Hi jonathan, Is the THR30II has more headroom sound compare to THR10II?

Hi Jonathan. With the 30, can you have the same "bedroom" volumes of the 10, or is it louder?

Yes you can lower the volume.. is just slightly louder ✌️❤️

With a mic for each speaker and running through a sound system, how would this work in a church setting?

How did you get the 30? I tried to order one a couple weeks ago and was just informed that the ship date (which they previously thought would be Nov 26th based on their communication with Yamaha) has been pushed out at least to February! Is there anywhere you can get the 30 before then? Or do I just need to wait?
@JonIsJustTooLoud5 жыл бұрын
Mark Feldman hi Mark.. I Guess the release time is different for every region. Ours actually been out on the US for a could of weeks now. Yamaha Music singapore just took delivery of these just about a week or so ago. So I think you just need to be patient✌️🤓
