Nice video. I’ve owned a Tricity 300 since November and am really enjoying it. Not too many in the UK. I use the Stand Assist as an anti theft device. When on the side stand activate the SA. This makes moving the trike very challenging. All the best from the UK.

I use the standing assist just as anti theft as well. Even after 8 months of use in Milan it's however a bit frightening when restarting. If the Tricity is not perfectly right you feel it almost falling to the side 😬

Modern display, yes. Auto standing assist, oh no. That would be extremely dangerous for many reasons. Plus, if you have seen my other videos you may know that i hardly use it. I only use it during parking behind my house.

@@yamahatricity300touring6 Hi Ron. Apologies for repeatedly returning to this thread and asking questions. But have you heard anything about Yamaha recalling the Tricity due to issues with the parallelogram? I am now no longer able to get my Tricity tomorrow due to new ones unable to be registered until the issue is resolved. Absolutely gutted!!

Absolutely no need for apologies. As long as i can answer a question properly i will be happy to do that. Yes, i also received the letter from Yamaha about this SA (standing assist) issue around two months ago. It seems that in véry rare cases the SA system will not 'un-lock' completely. I never experienced that plús i would feel it directly if this would be the case. But Yamaha can't and don't wants to take any risk and therefore this 'recalling action' even if the chance that it would happen to you would be less than 1 on thousends. I agreed with my Yamaha dealer that i will combine it with my first 1000 km service and that will be somewhere in juli. Unfortunately it has bigger effect on you... since now you have to wait longer to enjoy your Tricity. I do wonder though why you haven't been informed earlier. But maybe it differs per country. Hopefully you will have yours soon. I'd be happy if you keep me informed. Best regards, Ron.

Hoi Johnny. Dit is het typische geluid van een 4-takt motor met een vergelijkbare cilinderinhoud. Ik gebruik voor mijn video's een apart audiospoor voor het motorgeluid en de microfoon is in de ruimte onder het zadel geplaatst. Vandaar ook geen windgeluid en ook een ietswat gedempt geluid. Mocht je iets meer geluid willen dan zijn er trouwens 'sport' uitlaatjes te koop voor de Tricity. Maar persoonlijk vind ik het geluid prima bij de Tricity passen. Ik klaag niet :) Groet, Ron

I noted you gave a mileage/fuel consumption calculation for 120kph. Can this bike handle speeds like this for periods long enough to get a good calculation?

Bent u nog steeds tevreden? Sta op het punt om er een te gaan kopen maar heel af en toe wil ik van leiden naar Leeuwarden ermee rijden met mijn vrouw achterop maar weet niet of dit dan de juiste keuze is ,voor werk dagelijks gebruik ik nu een Honda pcx maar als ik hiermee gaat toeren dan willen me billen eigenlijk wat anders gaan doen

Nee, ik kocht hem bij Van de Kuinder Motoren in Hilversum. Een buitengewoon prettig familiebedrijf. Ps. Is het nog gelukt met jouw poort? In en uit rijden?

Ik heb mijn Tricity in april bij Motoport in Veldhoven gekocht. Ze hadden de Petrol blue op voorraad, heel blij mee!

Wat een dilemma. Kymco cv3 wilde ik eigenlijk aanschaffen. Echt motor gevoel 2 cilinders, 550cc enz. Alleen 1;25. Tricity veel goedkoper en zuiniger. Dat zuinige ....hahaa

Ik zou écht proberen om ook een proefrit te maken op een Tricity. En ja, het is wel 51 vs 28 pk maar voor lekker touren is dat meer dan voldoende. Bij ' t stoplicht echt als eerste weg. Verder veel meer opbergruimte ( bv 2 helmen t.o.v. 1 helm in de cv3) Wil je veel op de snelweg rijden dan is de cv3 misschien een betere keuze. Maar ja... Yamaha is wel een topmerk. Nou succes met jouw dilemma :)

Dan zou ik zéker een proefrit overwegen. Snelweg kan best hoor maar persoonlijk vind ik dat saai. De Tricity heeft ook grotere voorwielen en persoonlijk vind ik dat hij daardoor ook ' beter oogt '.

@@yamahatricity300touring6 'persoonlijk' is een prima woord om veelvuldig te gebruiken hahaa. Ik moet ze idd allebei gaan testen op de ring A10 en binnenstad . Die twee 13" inch banden idd haha, maar achterste 15" oogt dan wel weer muscular!
