Genos 2 is coming out soon and so that brings to me to wonder will there be a PSR-SX900 2? Have you heard the new Ketron EVENT! AMAZING MACHINE Won't be long befor your customers will be asking for those. They are made in Italy.!

I just REALLY wish there was a rack version. Use the quality midi keybed that you prefer, not be stuck with what your synth shipped with... don't have to stack synths, because you can switch them in and out as needed... and use a tablet to access the GUI of any synth in the rack. Travels easier. Saves money. Doesn't get damaged as easily. Man, a rack module Tyros/Genos would rock : /

Which is the better choice, the 900 or the genos ? Also is there an upgrade on the genos ? Not concerned about the price.

Just got my PSR-SX700 the styles are loud but the right hand are quiet not very loud and I can't hear some of them when the styles are playing if you could give me some idea to get them a bit louder please. I had the tyros4 and to get the right hand louder their was a button to get it louder I think it was touch sensitive on the tyros 4 🎼🎹🎶

You don't tell us anything for sound quality.is it the even the same?sx900 have semi-weighted keys like korg pa1000?with the sx900 we will miss the aftertouch that is very important for expression.all the Korg models have the aftertouch and in cheaper models.Today we can buy used tyros 5 with the same price.

Only the Pa4x and 1000 have aftertouch. And for Yamaha the Genos. Not really a big deal breaker since you can attach a midi keyboard with aftertouch if you need to or assign it to an expression pedal. The SX-900 has better DA converters than the Tyros 5 (very critical for quality sound), same keybed as the Genos, newer voices and samples, better OS, reprogrammed styles, touchscreen, joystick with modulation hold, built in speakers and many more features. Areas where the SX-900 lacks are; Super Articulation 2 voices, 76 keys, aftertouch and no condenser mic input. I could nit-pick but if you want the aftertouch, 76 keys and S.Art2 voices then the Tyros is more than satisfactory.
