Your motorbike is spotless. It seems to be in a factory condition. Great job. Thanks for the interesting video.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked it. I am trying to look after it the best I can, and I am not using it in bad weather, which helps a lot 😉

I love how those bikes are designed and build to be user-maintained. Today everyone is building things to brake just after warranty.

That is so true, however my next bike is going to be a BMW so we'll see how's that going to work out😁🤞

Looks pretty cool. What metallic paint is used on final drive case?
@MidlandCruiser5 ай бұрын
Thanks. That isn't paint, it is the factory chroming.

Hiii I have a question. My forward cylinder isn't getting a spark when the boot sits completely on the plug, but it works when the boot is just resting on the plug... I think the boot on the spark plug wire is bad, and I'm wondering, can I replace just the boot, or replace the spark plug wire with new boot, without replacing the coil? Or is the wire permanently connected to the coil and I have to replace the coil with wire as one? Hope I explained this correctly. If not, let me know, and I'll try to explain better

Hello. Seems like the problem is the resistor in your plug cap. If you look inside you will see a brass bit which has a slot for a flat screw driver. You can unscrew it and investigate, some people swap it to a solid metal bit and use resistor plug, if you want to use non resistor plug the you can change the cap on it's own. Where the lead goes into it just unscrew the cap and screw a new one on. It has a screw inside similar to a wood screw. There are many ngk caps available so make sure you get the right one. The original should have a stamp on it. I hope this helps www.google.com/search?q=ngk+spark+plug+cap+codes&client=ms-android-sonymobile-rev1&prmd=ismvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiPz7WsopvvAhWTQxUIHUF9DzAQ_AUoAXoECAIQAQ&cshid=1615020104413&biw=424&bih=626#imgrc=JlAw2j5i_sbXLM

Hi...mine has the original chrome on it. If yours look like that, then it might have been painted or power coated. You could try re chrome it with a company, but it won't be cheap I think...

Hi I have xv1100. Do you get a lot of vibration in your bars around 3000 rev? Just wounding how to combat it. Cheers Chris

Hi there. I only have a very little at 3K and virtually nothing under 3k. I would check carb sync, and set the idle/pilot screws first, if still vibrating then valve clearance, and compression test. Don't forget to reset the carb sync and idle screws if you need to adjust the valve clearance... I have a video coming up about valve clearance setting and more tutorials, please consider subscribing so you don't miss out... Thank you 🙏👍
