Thanks for this very helpful and well done. Pulling my 2004 Vmax out of mothballs from the fleet and going to do a carb rebuild/balance, oil/filter/spark plug and air filter change as well as coolant and brake calipers. It's 2022 and she is a 2004 with only 9k on her, still running stock brake pads. Only the tires have ever been changed. Gonna breathe some life into the old girl. Looking forward to tearing up the streets and making a general nuisance of myself on it. When I put her away 4 years ago she was a flyer.

Hey bro, any idea how to change the orings on cylinder head water joints?mine has coolant leaking from one of them. thanks for your useful videos.

Oh man!I had to pull those water jacket joints out to replace the orings, but it was impossible to pull them out without breaking them. I opened the valve cover to see if I could push them out, but there no proper access. Finally, I had to break them to pieces and pull them out. Some small pieces will fall down into the water jacket and crankcase. I don't know why the hel yamaha would make these joints out of this material . Good luck to you replacing them!
