Great video, very helpful. I suppose each bike can be a little different and I did mine on a small Craftsman jack, I was able to put in three quarts before starting the engine to circulate that oil. The rear 17mm drain plug was easier to get to with a deep socket in my opinion. Thanks again!!!

It would’ve been nice if you would’ve actually shown where the bold was instead of jumping right to the hole. It’s kind of impossible to follow what you’re doing if you keep jumping around with your editing

Stay away from k&n filters. A lot of guys have had the cans rupture at the nut area and other had the cheap oring blow out. Its happened so much motoamerica and other racing orgs had to ban k&n oil filters because so many of them failed on the racetrack. K&n even had to recall some.

Damn that's crazy news! Well good thing I switched to amsoil filters! Thanks for the input!

The stock yamaha filters are good too. Also hiflofiltro. Name sounds generic but the filtrr are top of the line.

Thanks for the video, but it is probably not necessary to drop the f bomb every other sentence.

Google XV1700 oil check dont do what this guy does at the end. Good video otherwise! F bomb is funny until you cussed at the bird, that was just unnecessary. 🤬 He just wanted a home
