I've had the pleasure of owning a couple different warriors over my year's of riding. These are great machines without a doubt. A healthy 350 engine on one of these is stout and powerful for the size. I've had plenty of more powerful quads such as banshee but the warrior has more than enough power. If anyone bad mouths these quads well there just flat out wrong brother. If you've owned one, you've loved one.

I grew up riding honda dirt bikes and got out of it for a while. A couple years ago I bought a honda 250x as my first quad ive ever owned and loved it. At the time my buddy bought a warrior and it left a bad taste in my mouth cause it was so clapped out. Ran like crap, suspension was blown so I swore I'd never own one. Fast forward and since then I owned another 250x and 300 ex. I sold an and decided I needed something a little bigger engine and overall size wise so I pick up a 92 warrior. Great shape, runs like a champ. Rebuilt the carb and she runs beautiful. This thing is awesome and I probably wont go back to honda again. At somepoint I plan to tear it down and rebuild the engine from top to bottom. Great quad and happy I bit the bullet and bought one.

Great classic ATV. With proper maintenance the motors last an extremely long time. I have worked on quite a few of these over the years. I like how the engine is built. Fairly easy to work on. I remember in the days when these were released. This was considered to be a big bore sport quad. Only Honda had it matched with four strokes with their 350x ATC. Of course the winner in the cc contest was Suzuki with their 500. Love the older machines.

I bought one for $1100 with full aluminum skid plates, rental bars, and exhaust, first bike I rode in about 10 years and figured it’s a solid 350,6 spd and has reverse. It was yellow and grey super clean. Bought a new brute force 750 and wish I kept it for the price I sold it for. Find a good clean one with a few parts on it for under $1500. Can’t beat it. And there basically the same as the raptor 350.

Whats with all the hate behind these bikes? Sure they arent racers stock but throw some different sprockets on there, maybe a cam and they can hit 80mph. These engines are very reliable and bullet proof, provided you take care of them. I have one of my own and she eats 400exs off the line.

@@Yamaha350w these bikes are mainly slow due to lack of airflow. Ported and polished head will be your main source of power increase. 400ex in the long run. The warrior will leave you wanting more power after you get used to it. And the 400ex has a bigger market for parts and upgrades than the warrior. The warrior is great for trail riding but the 400ex is good for trail but does better as a sport quad

all the hate on these bikes. it's like he said they looked like a sportbike but in the end they were really a trail bike that could go to the track. They could be modified to be a serious racer, or just left stock to happily cruise trails. Them being slow is more or less a gearing issue, first is so low that I've been starting in second, a simple drive sprocket swap would likely fix it. Plus during the entire life of the bike yamaha had other bikes that always over shadowed it, but it has a niche as reliable trail bike or the beginners racer.

Both tires are very popular and will be great options. If you're riding in mud the GNCC version will most likely suit you a bit better since the lugs are more spaced out and will clear mud faster.
