I'm 35, we had this exact warrior 350. We had to take it out to the farm to ride it because we moved to town. Right before I turned 16 so I could take it to grandpa's to ride, dad sold it for what I thought was the equivalent of a bologna sandwich and it was CLEAN

They’re a pretty nice machine. Plenty fun, powerful and not bad to work on. Sorry your dad let yours go. 😞

My Dad bought a warrior brand new in 87 and still has it today. It hasn’t ran for a few years. Last I checked it, it had no spark.

Best thing I ever did was buy an ultrasonic cleaner . Mine is a rather large one 30 L . I run all kinds of stuff through that buzzer box mostly using Simple Green HD . The regular Simple Green turns the alumni dark . It wasn't that expensive off of Amazon . Really knocks the ethanol green sludge out well . Another entertaining episode of the old " Barn & Grill ! Thanks buddy !

I bought an aftermarket carburetor for my Allis Chalmers B-10 Garden Tractor. I installed the carburetor and connected everything up. When I started the tractor it had all the RPM’s. I could manually make it idle and rev up. I compared the new to the old and found the throttle shaft was installed wrong. I swapped it around and it ran good. I had to laugh at your story. The new gas doesn’t last long at all. Recreational Gas is better but not perfect. Sounds good. Thanks for the videos.

It’s amazing how much quality is neglected in “new” carbs😆. Although I’ve also had good luck with some, it’s the bad ones you never forget lol
@SaabAholic Жыл бұрын
If the parking brake is on there is a governor so it won’t run good. Sometimes a deletion of that feature is needed. Not sure if it’s a “no-start” problem, though.

In the UK, we are fairly new to ethanol fuel, 2 years max, I own and ride the best make of motorcycle known to man, Triumph Speedmaster !!, dont kick your screen...This year with quite a few health ailments, my bike has been parked up for nearly 5 months, the fuel tank was half full, what I would like to know, will my bike still start up, (it is kept in a warm enclosed wooden shed), Answers please in a plain brown envelope................
@jtsbarnngrill6873 Жыл бұрын
You will probably be ok, but I’d start it sooner than later. Triumph is a great machine! You may want to get some fuel stabilizer in it asap!

@@ShainAndrews Oh deary me, just read your excellent answer, I started bike up, first touch on the start switch, let it idle for 10 minutes, then a few blips on the throttle, sounded as sweet as cherry pie.

I saw what the problem was right away. If that thing was painted red, you'd never have had to go through that hassle. 😁 I don't want you to think I'm swearing at you, but I saw that color once, on one of those "ford" things, that identify as a tractor...🤣
