Thank you!! This bike is the hands of someone else now :( I have new project in the works that I am long overdue posting, but plan on doing soon. Thanks for watching!

Got the same exact bike recently. Ordered a SC project conic exhaust (Euro 4). Hoping I won’t be disappointed by the sound due to new regulations on mufflers. Also looking into getting the same fender eliminator and hoping that it won’t be a hassle to install!

Selim Houssami Awesome!! Yeah, we don’t have too many regulations where I am (Tennessee), so we can be pretty loud. The NRC kit is very easy to install. Plugs right in. Thanks for watching!!

JJack...another great video...keep it up! I'm in a very similar situation with you with regards to kids and thinking about how that impacts my riding. I think it's very natural to feel that way, like somebody else said, it's even natural to think that way if you don't have kids. Like you, I find it to be a good stress relief (like all parents need) and helps to give me a better sense of myself...as someone that is beyond just being "dad." I also think that bad things can happen at any time/place so I don't want to teach my son to let his life be dictated by his fears...live in the moment, enjoy today, do what makes you happy, don't be afraid to take calculated risks...because you never know what tomorrow will bring. On a side note, what kind of summer jacket are you riding with? I'm in the market for a new one myself. Thanks and looking forward to some more content from you.

J Huber Very, very well said! I think it’s important to be cautious and smart, but riding scared is just as dangerous as riding careless. Riding is a passion, and I may not do it forever, but while I’m able, I want to take full advantage of the ability I have to do the things I love. Oh, and I wear a Merlin Alton leather jacket almost year round. It’s very breathable for the Sumner, and comes with a removable liner that I utilize for winter riding. Thanks again for the excellent insight!!

I just threw some awesome CRG Arrow bar end mirrors on. I had the same Amazon specials but the CRGs are more compact. Can't wait to see the Dyno vid. I have the power commander 5 but not a custom tune. I'd like to see the outcome of that. I always rev match. Makes the transition of the downshift nice and smooth

Jay_Mills CRG makes great products. Yeah, I’m really hoping to get that installed soon, if time allows. Thanks for watching another vid man, much appreciated 👍

Great review! I've been searching for a commuter twin and stumbled across your videos. Great job on them. The exhaust sounds so good! How would you rate this bike in terms of a commuter I could throw a pannier on and take my lunch cooler to work on surface streets in the middle of the night.

Hi JJack, I'm buying the kemimoto ones based on your videos - but you mentioned that the vibration on the throttle side could be fixed with a new throttle tube - could you tell me more?
@JJackMoto4 жыл бұрын
Hello Matt. Happy to help! The thought there is that a heavier metal throttle tube would help decrease the vibration through the bar to the mirror. I actually ended up using a deeper, heavier mounting plug that I had laying around. Worked perfectly. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

She has about 9,500 miles on her now; still going strong; such an awesome bike…I think I’m going to get the Tank Covers painted either Silver or Nardo Grey🤔

That would look awesome. Wrapping would be a good option just because that color is cool, but making it yours is what it’s all about. Take care man!

I just started downshifting so idk what to think of it. Also I don’t even have kids and I still be thinking of the negative things that could happen while your riding.

What did you change on the cockpit? Different bar? Did you change the holdingclasp?
@JJackMoto4 жыл бұрын
Bar is Pro Taper, Carmichael bend. Stock bar clamp.

I have the same bike, with the same set up...except the exhaust. After i put the fender eliminator on, I find the bike looks very short now. What is your opinion on this?
@JJackMoto5 жыл бұрын
Awesome man! What exhaust are you running? I'm not sure if it looks shorter, but it does look more compact, if that makes sense? I really like it though, cleans it up and adds a cool custom look. Thanks for watching!

Even with the stock mirrors, there is a slight blur on the throttle side, but none on the clutch side. My question is how is the vibration on your hand? Riding around town vibration on your hand is not a problem, but the same vibration on a hour, or more ride is horrible. Have you taken long trips with the new mirror set yet?
@JJackMoto5 жыл бұрын
Kn79 Kn79 I agree, there is a slight vibration, even with the newer end-weights for these mirrors. The longest un-interrupted ride I’ve taken was around 2 hours. I don’t really remember the vibration being too much of an issue though. Thanks for watching!
@KnKn-rr9ri5 жыл бұрын
@@JJackMoto Just installed the new mirrors, they are nice. You just can beat the price. Thanks for the review. And keep up with the good work.

@@KnKn-rr9ri Awesome!! I totally agree, the price makes these a no-brainer in my opinion. Thanks again for watching!

Really good review man 👍🏼 would you recommend that bike for a new rider , too bad no XSR155 here in the US.

Thank you! I'm not sure it is the best option for a total beginner, but definitely a good step-up option.

Hi, just installing the ‘Amazon’ mirrors, notice you’ve located the mirrors beneath the bar, what’s the vision like? I prefer above the bar as I can easily see the mirror while under the bar the mirror is obscured by my arm.

What was your final mirror decision? I cannot listen as I am at work. Thank you!

Non-Rizoma 100%. The Rizoma's are way overpriced in my opinion.

the problem with GoPro might be just your sd card, cheap sd cards after awhile start to damage files,stop recordings etc. try to change sd card, which is not bought from ebay

Ernest Kasarin Thanks for the info! I’ve tried right around 8 different cards. The current one is a Sandisk Extreme Plus 64gb, supposedly one of the GoPro recommended cards. Any specific ones you recommend? Thanks for watching!

@@JJackMoto I like Samsung evo plus SD cards ive speed test it, they r good quality, but even good quality sd cards needs changing time to time.Its not a secret they wear off. I use almost every day for my bike dashcams it lasts only 6 months, after there might be a problem. just google loads of people have same problem and 99% it was sd cards. somehow im 100% sure in ur case its sd:)...
@ernestk31525 жыл бұрын
and once again don't buy them from ebay or aliexpress you might get a good quality replica but it might only last week or 2. nowadays theres so many fake sd cards that samsung start to put serial numbers on them so you could check them online.
@JJackMoto5 жыл бұрын
Ernest Kasarin Thanks. I never buy from those websites anymore, especially electronics. I’ve purchased all my sd cards from retail stores like Best Buy. I’ll give the Samsung a try.

I believe living not to die, living life to the fullest, and living life as an idiot are all different. I have a 8 and 10 year old. If I shut it down to live in a bubble I'm giving them that example that could lead them to never discover their potential. If I do things anything driving, shooting , hunting, woodworking, falling trees on my property in an irresponsible manner not only am I giving my children that example but I'm putting myself at unnecessary risk. In short if you live life to the fullest without idiocy what ever happens would and could happen to anyone.

RE Kids. They should naturally be the #1 thing in your life. BUT. Do not ever live without dreams. Then your kids will grow up without them. Show them the balance between risk and reward. They could be taken from you, or you them on any day for any random reason. enjoy them, your wife and yourself. Balance in everything.
