+Whittle Moore you can tell a lot from tapping stuff, the thickness and stiffness of the metal, also looking at the welds and design.

Sorry for digging up an old comment but just in case anyone else sees this. I can tell you from owning an MT-07 the swingarm is a piece of crap xD

6Twisted I will 2nd this. Poor finishing on the welds, gossamer thin pain. Always opens up along the weld line. Terrible

Same engine as the mt but it's tuned to a more useable range. Updated forks and brakes from the mt as well. It is based on the mt but they have reviewed the faults in the mt and greatly improved them on the xsr. Definitely try the mt9 and xsr900, again xsr such a nicer machine. There are a lot of customisation options first of which should be done is the exhaust it sounds beautiful with the akro.

It is a nice looking bike. That shop used to be the Honda dealer. Great location for a bike shop, so it's nice to see another dealer take it over

Hi, how would you compare to the sv650, I can't seem to make up my mind 🤔
@RegularJon

I believe the tank covers are plastic! With the XSR range Yamaha have tried to push self customization aspect of things, but it looks mega out of the box!! There isn't a fuel range setting on them and the tank sensor isn't the greatest either! You can go from being on reserve to being half full by turning the bike off, shaking it around a little and turning it back on again sometimes! Im currently on the MT07 myself and i love it! Im yet to give the XSR a proper go however, it would be an interesting comparison! Great video though dude, Il be directing our customers towards it! P.S Try the XSR 900 ;)

May just be KZbin serving me optimal resolution today, but the footage looks very good on this. If you changed settings, it worked. Always hard to tell with viewing KZbin on a monitor. I like the anniversary yellow/black they have on several models. The pillion peg hangers are kind of handy, they would be easy to strap into with a soft luggage setup.

the new style of reviews are getting very good, how about reviewing older bikes for people that cannot afford new bikes there are many very good bikes that are no longer made but would i think be of interest to your followers, just an idea that could work

The suspension on the mt 07/xsr700 is where they saved a lot of the money, it can feel very bouncy when you push the bike. Changing the oil on the front forks and upgrading the rear shock makes a huge difference.
@spicy110
@spicy110 8 жыл бұрын
+addy yer I have heard adjusting the rear works and cartridge emulator for the front really sorts it out
@addario
@addario 8 жыл бұрын
Rear is set as standard on 3, increasing it to 6 really firms it up and makes the rear better. So whats your opinion on this vs the new sv650 then, didn't hear you talk about it in the video.
