Yamaha FZ25: Development Story

Yamaha FZ25 features a new 249cc BLUE CORE engine, which delivers both riding enjoyment as well as excellent fuel efficiency and environmental performance.
The main features of the FZ25 include:
1) A high-torque fuel-injected single-cylinder engine providing excellent performance in practical street use
2) A lightweight 148kg body enabling the joy of control as the rider intends
3) LED headlights and LCD instruments evoking a sense of innovation. The design emphasizes both the senses of mass forward layout and downforce, evoking the powerful muscles of an athlete.

I have been using fz25 for last 7 years .Even after 70000 odo reading my bike is doing an excellent job with the same mileage and ride comfort which I had on my first day . Excellent engineered product but sadly discontinued. Yamaha India kindly do the required changes like top end power etc and bring it again .

I bought the fz25 last week. I am very happy with the perfomance and the ride quality as well as refinement of the engine. However i have faced some problem. The gears are not smoth, its very hard and sometime i feel lots of pain in my foot in shifting the gear. Secondly there is some oil leakage from the oil cooler pipe as well as from the engine itself. Hope yamaha will solve this problem

Such a bad quality and service from Yamaha I do have complaint about my Yamaha FZ25 on petrol blocking and fornt shocker oil leakage (without any accident faced) still they refuse to slove my and they say it not comes under warranty . I do already own 2 bikes from Yamaha which are great in quality. I didn't expect bad quality from Yamaha FZ25 and showroom people they are not ready to even hear us. what is concerns they talk like a recorded tape repeated Walters Yamaha Chennai bad showroom in Chennai
