The song started with the engagement between Len (the King of Vengeance) and Miku (the Princess of the West) “The sky is clear and the blessing of the bells echoes, Wishing all the best for my brother (Len) and his fiancé.” Rin (the Corpse Princess) died at the same time of the engagement ceremony. After that, Rin became a zombie and, only then, Len knew his sister was cursed. Even though Rin, as a Corpse Princess (Zombie) hurt and/or killed people, Len could not blame her for her sins. This can be seen in “My sister, who ended your life in order to protect your beloved (the little brother), what charges should I lay upon you for your sins” and in “If you call those traces of scars that multiply with our love the bond between us, let’s dance until we no longer want to, while keeping hidden our unspoken feelings (secrets) for eternity.” Len eventually knew the truth (what he thought was the truth) that Miku was the one who put the curse on his sister from Rin's diary which was found from the secret base. Len thought that what was chaining her sister’s soul was her final wish/regret which was the grudge for Miku. This was said in “Her innocent wish (regret) chains her soul, turning her into an inarticulate corpse unable to tell the truth, as she dances until her wish (grudge) comes true…?” So, Len went on a war with the Kingdom of the West (Miku's country) and became the King of Vengeance. However, even killing Miku did not end the curse of his sister. Rin actually manipulated Len into killing Miku “We are part of masochistic puppet show.”, by luring him to the secret base to show him the diary where false facts are written. (In the song, we can see Rin calling Len over again and again “come...”.) Rin did so because she held sinful feeling for her brother and was jealous of Miku for being his fiancé, as in the lyrics, “The sin was committed out of love.” Rin’s actual final wish was probably to be together with Len and it could not come true because Len is her brother. The parts about the dreams implied that, “A dream where I atone for a preposterous sin.” and “An unspoken dream of truth, Her final wish that shall remain a secret is a sin.” The truth Len learned at the end might be the fact that his obsession was the one which cursed his sister’s soul. At first, Rin wanted to wish Len a normal happiness. So, she took her life without expressing her affection for Len which was more than family love. This is said in the intro where Rin said, “Together with this murky secret (truth), I end my life honorably.” However, Len’s feelings for her turned into a zombie. This was hinted in the chorus where Rin said “Please continue to strangle with those threaded chains embodying your attachment.” After becoming the Corpse Princess, Rin’s darker emotions surfaced and unable to attain her envy, she led Len into killing Miku. Rin referred manipulating Len as “MASOSCHISTIC puppet show” because the more his feeling for her burn, the more her curse became potent and consequently, the more suffered and toxic her soul became. Len was regretful that his love became a curse chaining his sister's soul down, but there is nothing he could do to fix his feelings. That is why, in the end, Rin said that “Cry all you want, my brother, while cursing ‘the sin of discovering the ugly truth’ eternally.” Rin was not able to free from her curse until the end. Len’s feelings which was the source of the curse, cannot be changed. And her final wish (regret) which was to be together with him also could not be attained as she was already dead. This is just my theory so it may be wrong. Please feel free to correct me.

behind the chorus it has a word connected to “closed castle,” [she fooled her brother with a lie, no curse was found to the west that was burnt down,] connecting, [behind the secret door from their childhood, holds an empty lie behind a jealousy love,”] Rin ended herself after the engagement party, she who was engage to another person. cursed her brother out of jealousy for the bride of the west found no truth and was wrongly accused, who was not given a chance to say her innocence, for both of them was the puppet of the princess, someone else was actually connected to this curse as Kaito and Meiko voice is behind the chorus

@@usagiayumi5 do u have the lyrics of closed castle? Can you share them?
Japanese commentors are theorizing that Miku and Len are engaged. However due to hidden and unclear motives Miku, the princess of saigoku cast a curse on the twins that Rin took upon herself and became a corpse, (the mute princess of corpses who rests in her coffin) in order to protect her dearest younger brother and tried to hide this from him. Len, however, finds Rin’s (the princess of corpses) dairy and finds out the truth, horrified and enraged, vows revenge on the kingdom of saigoku and his fiance Miku. He becomes the king of vengeance. Being unable to forgive his fiancee and vows to kill those that did this to his sister. There’s some inconsistencies in this though, as in, was it really Miku who did this? Why would she? Worst case scenario, and something that seems very possible, what if this whole situation was conspired by the Princess of Corpses, and len is manipulated into killing his fiance and only finds out after the fact? I wouldn’t put it past Hitoyama to toy with us like that. Maybe, Maybe not. Maybe it’s as simple as it seems. But I guess we probably only will find out after we hear Len/Miku’s CLOSED CASTLE that will be coming out soon. (IF that duet is related to this, that is.) (Rin looks really beautiful in the art. :) Completely unnnessicary comment but I wanted to say it anyway. Suzunosuke outdid themselves again.)

I feel you're onto something there! In the fan translated lyrics, it feels like there is more to the story. Len basically wages war against his fiancée based on a single letter, written by his sister. The letter makes Rin seem like a saint, for sacrificing herself and be cursed instead of her younger brother. But the lyrics also continuously mention sin, secrets and love. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an elaborate scheme. I'm really curious about the Closed Castle song!
Although I don't know the content of the song, the illustrations are SO PRETTY!! The melody is still as good as the previous songs. I really love LenRin, they are my favorite vocal!!
This is really a banger but I can't understand it I can't understand japanese 😂 I hope they add an English subtitles like the other songs they did I really love this song Also same for other languages so they can also understand this masterpiece

I'm waiting for the english subs to watch it, the music is a bop tho!!! As per usual obviously from Htioshizuku x Yama
What I'm interested in is... what was Rin's wish that kept her bounded to her deceased body? In the end, her lifeless body continues to dance. Her wish wasn't to stop the wedding (which was fulfilled), get rid of the fiancee (which was fulfilled!) or even that Len chooses her in his heart (as he did!). Even if the letter was a ruse to trick Len, what was the reason she literally choose to die instead of... you know, go missing instead. She wanted to end everything, but at the same time, she's still moving around. If she truly wanted death, she would have stayed dead. I'm really curious of her perspective.
Como en todos los estrenos, no entiendo nada pero eso no me impide seguir amando a Rin y Len 💪🏻💪🏻 espero que saquen traducción prontito 💕💕
