You really shouldn't sell ships, but if you do want to sell them you do that by pressing x on xbox assuming square on Playstation, then go to ship options and I believe you press x or square again to sell

What are the benefits of using the spotter plane over anything else? I know that it doesn’t actually increase your spotting range. As I’ve recently learned that there are specs to ships not actually listed in the game but there are additional details on wargaming’s site.

According to the description a spotter plane reduces dispersion which makes your shells disperse less along their trajectory which can result in greater accuracy. As someone who has played this game for going on 3 years though, I don't really notice any better dispersion when a spotter is up. In fact, it's weird, but more than half the time my dispersion is actually worse with a spotter plane due to RNG screwing me over - in other words, RNG seems to have a much bigger impact than buffs to dispersion. It's to the point I've considered switching to recon planes on all my battleships as they at least provide some tangible utility in spotting over islands.

They provide a buff to accuracy while they are active and since it is a plane you can use them occasionally to locate an enemy behind an island that you can't spot normally

@@Kyleplier lol, I don't know if I'd go that far it's just I'm really on the fence/dubious about spotter planes in the game right now. I imagine they actually do provide SOME benefit it's just so slight I, personally, don't really notice it as, again, rng has a MUCH bigger impact on where your shells actually go than dispersion or grouping, I would argue too much influence. So I'm not going to tell you not to use a spotter plane, more try both spotter planes and recon and see what works best for your play style.
