If he released any updates in between its silently just to fix bugs. If I'm remembering correctly in one of his recent videos he said that he wanted to prove he could finish the game so that he could get more funding for whenever he makes his crowdfund from the people that only saw it as a game that was unfinished in 7 years. The crowdfund will be for voice acting, animations, and more individuality between the rivals though, not just copies of osana, so I dont know exactly what to expect in the next update

Honestly, I forgot about this game. I don't really care about it anymore, but if all the rivals get added, I just wanna see how it's gonna be. The only true thing that's keeping me interested in this game is the theory that one of the Basu sisters is a succubus, which has its own story line, and the fact that there is a game in the game that shows this story line. But other than that, I don't know how I feel about the game anymore, even though at some point I was kinda obsessed with it. I'm just here to see the game's overall progress. Exactly! If you run out of items in the school to eliminate your rivals with as you incinarated them or took them from home, or don't have info points on you.. You can make a knife, stink bombs, and a lockpick for locked doors!
