This all does beg the question of who exactly summoned and imprisoned her, and why they didn't at least leave a guard. My guess is that it was a bunch of cultists, who she then tricked into dying somehow. ... or maybe they all had an unfortunate run in with a certain druid and her boyfriend.

You don't know how salt works. The salt has little power on demons. Ghosts yes, bur not DEMONS. You need faith on the circle. If you don't it won't be effective. For demons you need high grade salt. 4 main and 3 sub elements. She tricked the MC. You would need some binding ritual.

That was totally on him anyway. Everybody knows to not listen to the voice in the dark forest, especially when you find a sealed demon at the end. Classic beginner mistake. This story reminded me of a very similiar asmr story of a demon imprisoned with a talisman, promising her janitor touch and care.

That's not how it works. The salt has the 4 main and 3 trace elements. This and the believe from God is what REALY traps the demons. Table salt is too weak and can be broken by any demon given enough time. The best is volcanic salt that has suffer in it. Even them with out believe it is temporary. So the circle is not holding her back. Demons believe in God and power. This is why Neluphium are gone...but golems are allowed.
