Just a random thought. What if dating the other girl was just a way to get the yandere to try to confess her love to the guy, but in a normal way. I know for this character it’s probably not the case but it’d be kind of funny if the yandere went through all that effort then learned that if she simply confessed to him normally they wouldn’t be in that situation. Kinda sounds like a idea for a novel. “Two childhood friends finally became romantically involved although at the cost of someone else’s life.
