to everyone saying the bullies are tan and that its racist: This is a style that was popular in japan a while back called Gyaru. forms of it are still popular today, but just by looking at these girls I can tell theyre going for a ko-gal look with the uniforms and hair. gals are known for being up to date with the latest trends and in the 2000s, for their DISTINCT TAN SKIN. It has nothing to do with race at all, it was just a popular style amongst highschoolers. EDIT, 2022 I'm still so shocked that this comment from 4 years ago still gets so much attention. As the Kogal style has made a bit of a resurgence on tiktok, the argument as to whether certain types of gyaru should be considered blackface is coming back to the surface again. I'm black myself, and I never personally thought of tanning as blackface, but differing opinions are valid as well. My only request as a person of color is to do your own research about the makeup. Not only they are sensitive to atmosphere and pay attention to someone's nonverbal reaction, they pay attrntion to details and has amazing attention to surrounding that they would notice any small change you made with your body, even if its just a small haircut. They use their phone for social media and chat, and they dont 100% only paying attention to phone, they'll always try to see the surrounding when texting, and always have time to phonechat when talking and paying attrntion with surrounding. The most amazing form of teenager's way of multitasking. Actually, gyaru should have 1.5 the vield view, and normal view in phone.

Yeah, my idea was that you had to join their 'club' by having a high reputation. If you slipped out of the high reputation bar, they would come and tell you that you were no longer a part of their gang during lunchtime. However, being a bully would grant you better gossiping and less reputation points taken down when performing Yandere actions. Being part of the bullies would give you red streaks in your hair, a pastel red hoodie around your waist and maybe even a scrunchie or two around your wrist.

What if joining the bullies is like the opposite of a delinquent. To join, everyone in school would have to like you, you'd have to start wearing makeup, and dressing trendy. I have an Idea for these guys; Maybe if you catch them bullying students on camera more than once without them noticing and show the guidance councilor each time you do, the student council will consider letting you join them, as well as you getting a higher reputation for being 'heroic'. If you do this multiple times every week, you might gain trust of most of the other students at school, making it easier to eliminate them, but then again, some of the students might try to avoid you, like the delinquents and some of the other students who try to break rules at school.

Maybe the benefits of joining the Bullies could be they could act as _your_ security cameras. They can text you whenever someone enters or leaves an area, allowing you to get their schedule down while you make any necessary preparations. I'm actually surprised that Yandere Dev made Ganguros the bullies, considering when Musume Ronshaku was first teased, she had the same hairstyle as Galko from Oshiete! Gyaruko-chan, which is an anime that is basically about stomping on stereotypes in particular about Gyarus and from that you can assume Yandere Dev used Galko as inspiration for Musume at first and that's kind of ironic... But in Yandere Dev's defense, he probably wants to make certain characters stick out for gameplay by using anime tropes or just the appearance to help players easily identify people, like how he made the occult members have dark hair, delinquents wearing masks or certain hairstyles, or martial artists wearing their headbands. But yeah, I honestly hope Musume and her friends won't be the only bullies in the game and other characters like the Evil personas such as Yui Rio and Haruto Yuto get the chance to be bullies too and not leave it to only Ganguros to be the bullies. Besides, apparently Gyaru/Ganguro fashion isn't as popular as it once was in Japan, especially with the tanning skin and bleaching hair aspect. So maybe like the delinquents, the girls look's might update to a modern look in the later future since their look is somewhat outdated?

Cindy Sugar Galko is such a funny and successful character because there is over a decade of stereotypes they can use as a joke or plot point. Ganguro girls have long reputations as bratty, spoiled, entitled bullies. As perfect for single glance identification as a football jock in a game based at a US highschool. Which is definitely why he picked them. They are noticeable, cute and immediately identifiable at single glance. Just like any of the other characters belonging to clubs. Eventually everyone will be redesigned, for whatever art style Yandev decides best fits LoveSick: yandere simulator, and maybe at that time he'll choose to change their style. But for now these are, imo, perfect place markers.

These could be the requirements: 1: You've dyed your hair 2: You have a high reputation 3: You are friends with at least 2 of the bullies, one of which has to be Musume After these are met, you have the following benefits: 1: You double the reputation gain from complimenting male students 2: When matchmaking a student, they instantly follow what you ask of them since they see you as trustworthy 3: Your gossip is twice as effective but with the right buffs (panties, etc,) its three times as effective as a normal student's gossip However, some cons to being a bully are: 1: You will never be able to join the Student Council 2: You will never be able to "Offer Help" to any student 3: You will never be able to join the Occult or Martial Arts club... -The Occult is thought of as "weird," so the bullies will kick you out if you join them -The Martial Arts club are sworn to justice, so if they find out you're a bully, they will kick you out

Except....everyone at Akademi high school sees the bullies as....as Yandere-Dev said: "Pure, Sweet, Innocent Angels" so, you probably could still offer help to students, in fact, they would probably trust you more. You can probably still join the Martial Arts Club, because everyone sees you(all the bullies) as innocent people, so...unless they catch you doing it, no-one in the Martial Arts Club would suspect a thing. Ex: stealing their phone and posting embarrassing things, Framing them for things they didn't do, Or reporting to a teacher when you see the bully commiting an act of bullying (photo evidence is needed). It would also be interesting if you could save a kid from bullying whether it be by making friends with them while you have a high reputation, stoping the bullies (But you would become a bully target), or talking the bullies into stopping.

For anyone saying that "the bullies are going to cause racism problems" or "that's racist that all the bullies are tan/dark skinned", hold on a second there. Quick history lesson! In the 1990's, Japan had a new style surface called "ganguro". The style fights the stereotype of ONLY pale Japanese women being beautiful in Japan. The fashion includes bright colors, heavy makeup, and TANNED SKIN. Yandere-Dev made a good choice to include them in Yandere Simulator. In fact, I was already exited when Musume was added as a ganguro. My advice would be to add more that are not bullies, but this may confuse the player on who is a member of the bully group. Just an idea ;) (Also, weird I learn this stuff from studying art. The more you know :D)

As well as what all the other comments are saying, joining the bullies could help you in another way. Currently, you can only spread one rumor online and be believed (the one about Kokona's compensated dating), but maybe hanging out with bullies or being in their group would allow you to hear more rumors to spread online (that students actually believe). Or being a bully could potentially allow you to spread any rumor online and be believed by students because you're a bully.
