i'm learning the kicks... i need more coordination with hands and feet and amplitude.. and there are some details that are different from what my teacher does, or maybe i'm yet too young on this to understand.

For me the form is a little bit silly if you know the long one and he looks like a robot, there is no flow and some bugs in his performance 🧐😳

He is a master of the Yang family forms. That's good enough for me.

I think you practice an other stile of the yang tai chi, because he is the standar of this stile. There are a lot of branches of the yang stile.

In my opinion, the question we may ask ourselves goes as follow: - Is he performing a regular form, or is he demonstration distinct 'body-part-movements' within the form the untrained ones will be able to grasp? If the purpose is to show something non practitioners can *see* in a context deprived of interactions, it is often better to detach moves. (Of course this totally destroys flow, as it's a sort of "OK. I'm done with this one. Now let's get on with the next one, here's how it starts...") However, I agree those who watch should know they will have sort of to unlearn everything, and relearn it differently.
