i think new in this video means a genre that hasn’t been covered in previous videos for each year and since as the yearly videos only cover pre releases and title tracks that could explain why psytrance hasn’t appeared until now. but yeah there are plenty of kpop songs that are either fully or have elements of psytrance

I think I finally know why I found this year both a bad and good year for kpop in terms of the music. There was a lot of contemporary R&B, which I don't really like, not a fan of any kind of R&B. However, the next few genres, pop-rock, trap (edm) and electro pop are all among my favorite genres.
