Im Turkish, have had several Greek coworkers in Germany and we always worked in harmony with each other. It almost felt like we were overly polite to each other out of respect. That was in retail when I was jobbing beside university. They worked damn hard, too. One of them was a mother and she would unload those pallets faster than me (28 year old male at that point). I had no problem battering a punching bag for 40 minutes but it felt hard keeping up with her unloading 6-packs of softdrinks.
