An urgent message from Yanis Varoufakis, on behalf of MERA25 Germany, our German political party, emphasising the need for a principled stance in Germany amidst current European crises.
With Europe facing challenges from the ongoing genocide in Gaza, to climate change and geopolitical tensions, the role of Germany has never been more pivotal. Yet, the response has been lackluster, to say the least, highlighting a broader European failure that MERA25 is determined to address.
To do this, we need your support to gather signatures so that MERA25 can be on the ballot in Germany for the European elections in June.

I have lived in Germany and UK and Sweden. I totally agree with you! I am a low paid worker who moves around Europe, but I'm an Adhd person, so I follow politics (Eurocrats) beurocracy has essentially sold regular people down the river, if I can be so bold in my statement Not as brutal as slavery, but the endgame results in loss of income and huge profits for the owners of "beurocracy" An urgent message from me! An actual working class European... We are losing all rights. In Sweden, it may seem like we are represented, but for 18 months I haven't spoken to a union representative, and I called the number quite a few time over the last month

His message is consistent even though "changing" sides. In his PoV Greece was the first to fall, and so did some other countries, and Germany's next on the list or line I always wanted to see Europe thrive and cruise through tough times as these ones and be a catalyst for a better world, but sadly, that remains a dream for another day Now IDK what "Americanisation" of Europe would do but we better all admit that reindustrialisation, supporting traditional means of production like farms are perhaps more crucial than ever IDK what Mera25 or Diem25 would do and whether or not they would be efficient, one thing is certain that the West, or at least the whole of Europe is in a sinking vessel, and bad things will happen if stay on the course
