The airplane could be a reasonable alternative if it saves you a night at one of Key West's expensive hotels.

very informative video and tour, a question i had, is there parking at the yankee freedom and if so is it free or have a charge to park?

Thanks. There is city pay parking nearby, but no free parking. We Uber'd from our hotel and found it cheaper than parking for the day downtown. Good luck.

thank you for the info, we are staying in Marathon so i will have to see what Uber would be from there or if driving and parking ourselves would be better.@@EnjoyingRetirement

Yep, that’s a long drive. I believe the city parking next to the terminal is $5 an hour and max $40 a day. Hopefully there’s cheaper parking nearby. When I go to key west I stay at the Fairfield inn there and they provide a shuttle to downtown, or Uber is about $5-7 as I recall. Maybe there’s cheaper parking away from downtown and then Uber from there, just a thought.
