Dollywood's Dream More Resort Song and Hearth Restaurant Review and Walkthrough 2020

Will, you were right when you said it was just your "basic hotel." We stayed at the DreamMore four years ago and thought the property and common areas were beautiful. The rooms, however, left a lot to be desired. The room we stayed in was very cramped and a tad old-fashioned. Especially for the money we spent. Our favorite part was the covered fire pit on the far side of the outdoor pool. Could have sat in those rocking chairs our whole stay!

This is not “your basic hotel”. I don’t think you can comment on a hotel that you’ve never stayed in. As someone that has actually stayed here you have not thought the whole experience through. What makes this hotel amazing- -Camp DW -free parking so you don’t have to pay for Dollywood parking. -Time saver passes so you don’t have to wait in line. - you can come back with your kids and not have to find somewhere to go eat in town. -complete pantry /store so I don’t have to go find a local store to get a drink in the morning -excellent room service again so I don’t have to go out. -room and Dollywood ticket bundles. Most people traveling from out of town don’t have season passes to Dollywood. -Family game time in the evenings This hotel is not just about the room. I don’t think you should try to review a hotel until you have stayed in it as a guest. You are not thinking in terms of someone traveling from out of town you are revealing this place is someone who lives nearby. As someone that likes to travel a lot with kids... this hotel offers a lot. Definitely not your basic hotel. Pay the money to actually stay in the resort and think of it as a tourist would you will not say it is basic. Sorry you did not do this hotel / resort justice.

That frozen fountain is beautiful! The food looked good. And yes Dawn the spa is wonderful, they massage you from head to toe and it makes you feel like your walking on clouds. It's always nice to pamper yourself. I haven't been to that one but I have here at home.

I love the videos of different restaurants & attractions. You give me ideas of places to go. I live in Blount county so it's convenient. Why go hundreds of miles away when we have the greatest destinations in the world right next door!

I just LOVE ya'll's videos. You may not realize it, but your tips and tricks are so helpful. Planning a move to TN in the next few years. In the meantime, we take our vacations there to find different areas and visit the small towns. Keep up the good work...you're making light work for me! LOL!! We have stayed there twice for anniversary celebrations and really enjoyed the hotel. The pools are great in the summer. Plan to take the whole family to Song and Hearth to celebrate our 50th anniversary next summer. Thanks for the video!

We stayed in Dolly's Dream More resort 3 days last year it was really nice but we are staying in a much cheaper hotel in June we never ate there we always went out and ate somewhere cheaper I love Dream More Resort though we had always wanted to stay there 💜

i didnt know dolly had a resort and restaurant called the dreamore how many years has it been around ??l only knew of dollywood and that place that is that hashorses and you sit thereand wqatchit wnile you eat some kind of play my nephew went to it have you ever gone to it or done a vlog on that forget what you call it they do jousting and maybe you eat 5 courses w/it i live in nebraska it takes a lot of money to do allof that and driving and i love that music you use inyour yankkee of the south vlogs i think i watched one last year because i remember dawn likes those hats the chrochet onesone time dolly had the locomotve train whisle on the phone when it was 20yrs and now its 40 now i think where does the time go??

You could maybe save $10-15 going to Golden Corral for example but the food is nowhere near the same quality. What you save on the meal you spend on toilet paper later lol

Great review. Love Dawns hat. we stayed at dreammore a couple of Christmases ago. It was wonderful. We did the song and hearth restaurant for breakfast. it was great because they had entertainment in the lobby area that week. It was really nice to relax and listen to music and they had the Carol of the trees out back every hour. And of course it was decorated great. I got a really good deal at the time. And they ran a deal recently and I wish that I had gotten in on it and could have booked sometime this year. But I missed out on that.

I'm a big fan of buffets so this was fun to watch. Based on the regular price and comparing that to the food selection, I think there is a premium being paid for just being at Dollywood and the atmosphere. You see some of this overpriced nature at Disney resorts too. It also stinks it was so crowded and the seating arrangement near the bar. When paying the higher prices, you'd expect they have the layout arranged better. Thanks again for sharing YITS!
