Idk why people thought these teams were somehow evenly matched. Its like they forgot Yamamoto was one of the biggest free agent signings this offseason. Its like they forgot that the dodgers 2nd tier players are light years ahead of the yankees guys. Its like they forgot that not only has the dodgers been battle tested this postseason but they have about 5 games under their belt where they completely dominated their opponent and thats before even coming into this series. These teams are not evenly matched in the slightest. The talent leans heavily towards the dodgers and its shown in the 1st 2 games

The sad thing is, on paper they kind of are. Judge being ice cold has a knock-on effect that tilts their whole line-up. If Boone doesn't move either Judge down or GS up, they're gonna keep running into a wall. It's also worrying when most of your runs in a series are from homers. They seem like they're all swinging for yard, and that can be easily pitched around.

I think it's pretty well matched. Dodgers didn't blow out either of these games.. and that's saying a lot while Judge continues to be asleep at the wheel for whatever reason. I would say you were right only if the Dodgers didn't suffer so many loses to the IL on their pitching staff. If there was a healthy Glasnow and Gavin Stone then I think the Yankee's would've been toast. Tonight it's Buehler v. Schmidt and I'd normally give Buehler the edge here but he doesn't quite look the same since his second TJ surgery. If the Yankee's win today then it's bullpen game for the Dodgers... who I admit have been very good but bullpen games are always risky in their own right. So again. Yankee's can take game 4. Then in Game 5 the Yankee's get to see Jack again who hasn't been good when seen twice by a team and I assume Cole is pitching game 5 who was great in game 1.

Buehler has been waaaay better this postseason. The game he lost was not his fault. His pitches have been nasty, he’s been dominate, the defense let him down big time that game. The Yankees will not have a fun time against him. He’s a terrible match up for them. The way he speeds up and slows down is a Yankees kryptonite. Plus his breaking stuff disappears now. He’s gotten new life this postseason. It’ll be his best outing yet.

until the final out its not over...but when a team goes up 2-0 in a 7 game series there's only a 20% chance they win and thats in a best case scenario...the teams are not evenly matched..the dodger's aren 't even playing at top level now...they're playing avg..if they go on a tear like against the mets or padres they could score 10 runs in a game easily and its unilikely the yankee's can do that even with a couple home runs from stanton or sotot...the dodger's have more firepower and just as good pitching so unless they totally melt down this series is prob gonna end in NY.

Game 3 is a must win for both sides.
