Yankee boy is back. Gotta save face before the playoffs, nice Mike.

Kay has no clue! It’s about winning! Nothing else matters…it’s not a problem, feelings don’t count when you’re trying to win a championship…

No clue he's with the team daily
@greghughes8147Ай бұрын
Alternate your left fielders won't work. Not playing the rookie everyday is especially dumb, how is he going to hit not playing consistently. He's getting the Peraza sabotage treatment
@urbangorilla33Ай бұрын
I'm not one who complains about every decision a manager makes. But this crap with not playing rookies - and in this case the best prospect since Judge- is just unbelievable. Boone is a big problem.
@RogerBates7Ай бұрын
@urbangorilla33 same and agreed. Verdugo has done nothing this season to warrant keeping his spot. Nothing against him. He's a good ballplayer, it just hasn't worked out for him here.

Boone doesn't make alotta these decisions @@urbangorilla33

With this question marks on Boone bad decisions at times, starting pitchers and closer is recipe for another disappointing season, unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong, this scene has played in ‘23, 22, 21 and until Joe Girardi took the Yankees closest to a World Series in 2017.

At the end of the day, in the name of winning a WS, egos gotta be checked
@greghughes8147Ай бұрын
Stroman was a questionable signing. He can't pitch in the strike zone and get guys out. You dont chase, make him throw strikes and he gets hammered. A worn down Stroman, with even more diminished stuff can't get a playoff start

Clay Holmes wasn't lights out at all. He threw a hanging curveball on a two-strike count and got lucky.

The Michael Kay show cannot have an episode where Kay and or Peter don’t disrespect or gaslight the fans. Don really is the only dude here that has any half a brain that works…

Here goes Michael defending his boyfriend Clay Holmes. The man has blown double digit saves. Why wouldn’t he get booed? It’s not rocket science
@engell3707Ай бұрын
Yankee boy Michael Kay defending Cardiac Holmes now. What a Yankee boy! I can’t listen to him no more.
@greghughes8147Ай бұрын
Boonie got cubes is ridonkulus. Guy's got 12 blown saves and could have blown a few more. Only stones Boonie has are in his head. Dummy. Guy almost blew opening day if not for a great Soto throw. Foreshadowing
@pacificreefer4495Ай бұрын
Shut up you 🤡…Kay was not defending him. He’s talking about the hypocrisy of Yankee fans booing Holmes and then suddenly cheering him. And y’all booing him before he hits the mound. He’s got a point…wait until he fails again. If he pitches good, then y’all look like fools.
@dandandkl9048Ай бұрын
I’m with you man! Time to retire, like Sterling! Kay is way past the expiration date.

The Yankees are doing it yet again.......and that's doing their best to hinder the development of a top prospect. They did it to Peraza and now they're doing it to JD. If the plan isn't to give a top prospect 100s of consecutive at-bats to actually see what you have, like they did with Volpe, either leave them in the minors so they can continue to swing, or trade them. To expect young players to perform consistently with inconsistent playing time goes against Baseball 101....especially when you consider how difficult it is for even seasoned veterans to succeed in those situations. And to think they're doing it to JD for a player having a subpar season......and who won't even be a Yankee in a few weeks, is laughable.

Did Clay Holmes not perform AFTER being booed??? You cry baby apologists. Here we go again, making excuses for millionaires. WHY HASN'T DANIEL JONES GOTTEN ANY BETTER??? If he really wanted to be good at his job, HE WOULD GET GOOD AT HIS JOB!!! He's stealing money and you guys sign off on it. HE WILL NEVER THROW FOR 400 YARDS AND 4 TD'S!!!! Bank on that.
@snerdtergusonАй бұрын
Post hoc ergo propter hoc "after therefore because of" has never been a legit argument. Booing can have no positive effect if the issue is just results and not effort. It isn't like Holmes heard the boos and decided to really go to work. It can only possibly have zero effect or a negative one. What does their salary have to do with whether booing is or isn't appropriate? What's the line of demarcation? If x equals the salary at which you now get booed, what do you say x equals? Do we hold.off until they get their first million a year deal? What if it is a 3 year deal.worth 1 million in total? They're a millionaire based on earnings, but just 333K a year. You have every right to go or cheer who you want. But if you're booing a guy who is putting in the effort and just not getting the results... You're an asshole.
