@@bigpictureguys8415 The availability of Graterol and Vesia will make a big difference with their bullpen. Graterol is their best right hander and Vesia is their best left-hander. With those two in the bullpen it really shortens the game. Treinen, Graterol, Vesia, Phillips, Kopech and Hudson makes it to where they only need 3 innings from their starter. It is important that the Yankees win this year though because the likelihood of them beating the Dodgers with Ohtani and Glasnow is very unlikely especially considering they have the #3 farm and are the favs to land Crochet this offseason.

Don’t get me wrong I respect this dodgers team, but there’s a decent chance we are looking back a week from now and are surprised we didn’t see a 4-1 Yankees series win coming. Purely because if the yanks get to their starters early in games 1 & 2 it’s difficult to imagine they can hold up over a long series.

You can say that about both teams though. If the Dodgers get to Cole and Rodon early, do the Yankees have the bullpen that the Dodgers do to hang on? Also, Dodgers have the ability to adjust. They got to Manaea early and often the second time they faced him after he dominated them in Gm2. Gonna be a good one!!

Yankees have Dominguez (speed/power) off the bench, berti (good contact guy with A+ speed) and Oswaldo (plays every position well and can be clutch/have pop) Overall the Yankees don’t use bench much unless it’s late game defense or to pinch run for Giancarlo. That’s why they spread the lineup LRLRLR so there’s balance and every reliever will have at least 1 batter from opposite hand

The pressure is 100% on the Yankees. Considering the injuries the Dodgers have had and still made the World Series it is very likely they will be back many times in the next 5 to 6 years. The Yankees are mostly healthy and cant expect to have better health in the future than they have now. Also the future of the division the Yankees are in clearly belongs to the Orioles if they are willing to spend close to the luxury tax. It will be much harder for them to win the World Series in the future when they have to go through four rounds rather than three.
