This is a good pick up…you need to see the big picture, Vlad Jr is a free agent next year…why lock yourself into a multi year deal with an aging first baseman like Walker, Alonso etc…anything he produces is light years better than Rizzo..

The 4 together are good at what they do. Great organic chemistry. Should happen weekly. And it should be like a table talk, similar to Sunday morning sports reporters on ESPN back in the day. But way goofier, less professional, more analytical. But you guys gotta wear suits 😂

Also, if you think what the Yankees did this year was bad, try being a Cardinals fan in Game 7 of the '85 affair-- those Redbirds just plain imploded, and the Royals had the mastery of 'em in the bottom of the 5th inning, scoring 6 (Andujar also got ejected by Denkinger, because Andujar said, "We wouldn't be here if you hadn't missed the ______ call last night [Game 6]"; Denkinger came back with a good line, countering with "Well, if you guys weren't hitting .120 in this World Series, we wouldn't be here").

Oh joy the Yankees let Walker sign with some other other team for $15 Million per season. To sign the oldest free agent first baseman possible. Somebody who caught lightning in a bottle last season. Obviously Cashman was hoping that he could catch lightning in the bottle again. Bellinger was the only trade I liked. & Fried was the only free agent signing I'm excited about. Even though they signed him for to long of a contract.
