Boone no matter how you slice it is a terrible manager, yes gleybor definitely screwed the pooch but if Boone doesn't pinch run for gleybor with the useless martian at this point oswaldo doesn't boot that ball. Gleybor makes that play all day and then it just goes from there. Boone Blows period!

Why would you think Judge would do anything in the WS when he has never done anything in the postseason ever?

Exactly, So much money for nothing. I rather paid Soto and Stanton that amount of money at least they show up when it counts.

Man the PAIN. That was a fun first game and by fun I mean extremely stressful. If there’s one thing I know about the Dodgers and their New York opponents this postseason, they always come back with haymakers. Can the Yankees do the same? Tune in to game 2 and find out.

I'm glad you brought up Judge early on, I can complain about a bunch of things but Judge looks like trash at the plate. If he lays an egg and the Yanks lose this series this will be a giant stain on Judge's legacy.

Hey, Judge still has his 62 record. 😊 But seriously, the guy is still a threat, even if he hasn't shown it in the postseason all that much. He is a must start. In baseball, anything can happen. ⚾️

Jon, you actually are asking if Ohtani got a hit!?!?!? Holy affected by the game much....this episode is no doubt a bummer from you guys. I already posted, and then kept listening and heard "did Ohtani even get a hit?"....!!!! Dude torched a Kahnle change-piece, which was why they jumped to Luke early. But Luke only threw 19 pitches, and you were facing the bottom of the order in the 10th.....uggg, too much to criticize both the Yankees and this episode. Good luck with game 2 postgame 😉

Not the same talent disparity as last years World Series but one team is definitely considered more talented and this result reminds me of game 1 of last years World Series. You just knew that if the diamondbacks blew that game in Arlington after their ace pitched a great game, they stole momentum on the road but then they give up the homers to Seager and Garcia you knew the Rangers were going to win the series. The diamondbacks just weren’t good enough to blow that game and still win the series. They had to steal momentum early and they failed to do it. Not saying it’s the same situation but it feels pretty similar. The Yankees are the only team with an ace and the ace pitches a great game but you blow at the end…. That’s tough. Especially against this team.

As a Dosgers fan I wasnt worried about a game 1 loss considering that Cole threw such an amazong game, it was the lack of Yankees offense that surprised me. Not that I was epecting Flaherty to have a terrible game but I was expecting them to have him our by the 4th inning or 5th and then going to low leverage bullpen then go game 2 and head to NY 1-1. With Brusdar and Vesia coming almiost confirmed it for me that Roberts was thinkiung the same, but when Treinen came in something must have cl;icked in the Dodgers dug out that Roberts knew that they were gettinbg a win. Flaherty had a better game than I expected but the Yankees bats did not come throiugh and the Dodgers bat did. The Yankees just had a hard realization that the Dodgers, wiuth or without a frontline pitching staff are not going to give and trhere is a heart in that team from top to bottom.

For 9 innings I watched a great game between the two undisputed top teams. If we had lost, it would have been great. Please you guys were down 2 games to 1 with game 4 in San Diego were you saying Padres were better then Dodgers and that Dodgers were done. Exactly so be happy not a idiot. LA offense scored 1 run thru 7 innings and needed horrible error by Torres to get ohtani to score 2nd run on a sacrifice. there offense was dead all game till 10th inning and then took a walk and a error by Cabrera and another walk to betts to set up Freeman. Ohtani betts 1 hit Freeman only offense Dodgers had.
