Bro I am so confident that Oswaldo could be a great player somewhere else. The Yankees kill the young players, and Yankees fans are so dumb , like baseball is the hardest sport, you need to play every day. Look at Judge, he was awful in the first month and a half, so imagine is judge was playing like Oswaldo, he would be garbage for even longer. Oswaldo is so underrated, I feel bad for him he needs to get out of the Yankees any chance he gets.

Remember 2023 when they decided to go cheap in left field, and never got anything good enough to fill the position? Ridiculous, right? It’s the Yankees, how can they NOT have just a decent, everyday player in left? But the “brain trust” thought they could skate by with the mish-mash they had. FAIL……Now we need a 2nd baseman, or 3rd, and the available options are few. Barring a major trade (Correa), the best reasonable solution would be Arraez, in a trade, that shouldn’t cost too much in return. Yes, he’s a defensive liability, but Torres LED MLB in errors at his position, and Arraez would hit 100 points better than Gleyber. Having him hit leadoff, in front of Judge, is ideal. If defense is concerning, put in a replacement after 7 innings. Also, he’d be perfect DH, when/if Stanton gets hurt, or faces tough righty pitching. I hope they don’t let this be a repeat of 2023, with a literal “hole” in the lineup again, that they COULD avoid, by trading for Arraez.

Love the channel. I whole heartedly disagree. Good hitter for average, he’s worse than Gleyber at D and can’t run. We should have just gave Gleyber a 1 year deal if that’s the case. I say package prospects and get a better D/base runner and hitter.

Arraez the hitter is amazing and would probably complete the lineup. His defense and base running are horrible. The problem with him is that he makes a big problem with the defense even worse. People have been saying coaching can fix his defense but the dude has been with 3 different organizations and is still a bad defender. The Yankees sure as hell aren’t the team to fix him. I wouldn’t mind sacrificing offense if it meant having great defense in the infield. I would much rather Kim, who has proven to be around a league average hitter, than Arraez. Cold

Roki will be at or near the league minimum salarywise and shouldn’t impact the timing of any position player moves. The more likely issue holding up any potential moves is probably Stroman; I suspect they’re reluctant to add another bullpen piece until they find a place where they can salary-dump him.
