I am jealous of your crisp manual. Many of us are stuck using manuals with 8th generation photocopied pictures.

My tractor does not have the notches on the pulley. It’s kubota B6000. My tractor would barely start and sometimes wouldn’t start. I tried adjusting the two nuts on top that are attached to the decompression lever. When the nuts were all the way in, the exhaust was putting out white smoke and engine wouldn’t start at all. I adjusted them by pulling them out a little and tightened the small nut around it for both cylinders, the tractor runs great now, no white smoke, and it starts even faster than before. It even starts on idle without giving it more diesel. I am concerned, did I do too much compressions and is there a risk of blowing the engine out? Or am I good? Any ideas or troubleshooting will help, thank you.

Where did you get the engine service manual? Do you want to sell your old manual and liner/ring compressor tools? I have a YM2000B

I got my printed service manual on eBay for the Yanmar YM240 the American version of the YM2000B. I don't want to sell the tools, because I plan on rebuilding more Yanmars.
how much should this cost to have done? I have a ym1610d

The problem is no one knows how to work on these old Yanmar tractors. Maybe $150-200. I did all the labor. I paid $100 labor plus parts probably $150. So $250 total to rebuild the head.
