Well said! 'Mr Coversart' is a huge inspiration to me! I did my own first public performance in years, last night and this was mostly down to this wonderful musician! He's such a blessing. 👌💓😃🤗

You're obvious a good piano player. And the first comptine was in an interesting timing and tempo, while it seems to be used in every beginners piano playing course it was a welcome deviation from the original. Dispute however went too fast, you should feel the faster part the same as the slow part. Sur le fil the tempo went off the rails. Except for the outro. The faster part should have the same feeling (even more) it just has more notes. Don't rush. I'm interested in how you play Chopin or Schubert.

This is a very serious analysis!) I don’t even remember how most of these pieces sound. At the very moment when I decided to play through and record these miniatures - I set the sheets at the stand and just played everything prima vista, without much deep thinking. Spontaneous impulse - nothing more. And to be honest, I never opened these music sheets again.

Lovely! Where did you get the copy of the book? It's difficult to find.

As a composer to another player, the timing was off some here and there, but it's all right. :) you're doing well.

I think that for the most part this was very very good, but I am curious as to why you delayed so many of the notes, messed around with the meter, and really milked those tied sixteenth notes.
@MrLutens5 жыл бұрын
I don't understand why the rhythm has varied in practically all the pieces. Do you want to give them more richness or dimensionality? In some cases (Sur le Fil), the result is rather the opposite...

you seem like a talented pianist so i have to ask: why did you choose to use rhythm like that? it's kinda off putting
@coversart4 жыл бұрын
Well, this is a simple question. In principle, I do not see any point in multiplying the same interpretations. Moreover, this is a sort of music that every amateur should perform on his digital piano and be sure to put it on the Internet. Therefore, this is just a different look at already familiar music I suppose. Honestly, I still have not listened to how Yann Tiersen played these pieces himself (I even didn't listen to my own recording) Sounds very different? 😀

@@coversart It's actually what I love about you! There are so many mediocre-sounding 'perfectly' and precisely timed performances of the same popular works but they do nothing for me. It has to come from the soul within and I adore your heartfelt interpretations... To me, you are a true musician, so there is no criticism from me whatsoever!! 👌💓

Please people don't swoosh and fly your hands all over the place to make it seem more interesting.. everyone seems to do it
@dkallanson95212 жыл бұрын
I don't have a problem with it at all. I think it's all part of 'feeling' the music and a valid part of the performance. I'm not much into excessive facial gurning though, lol! 😅
